This is a great post! Thanks! The stills are incredible in capturing Jaco at his (or close to his) peak prior to his slide into major depression and psychosis (bipolar disorder) and that whole tragedy. Thanks for this!!!
All credit where it was due. It is Jaco's interpretation of Alphonso Johnson's bassline. Johnson was still the Report's bassist when most of the Black Market Album was recorded
@DrJhengsman You're right. It Is just Jaco's interpretation. Alphonso is an awesome musician in my opinion. I feel he has been a bit underrated by the big audiences, but every serious bass players now this cat is solid.
That was so nice it was NASTY!!! What tasty musicianship this group had. This lineup was my favorite. I was just digging this tune a couple days ago on my iPod at work. Man, I miss Weather Report. Zawinul and Jaco RIP. .....It was a crummy day today, and this just got my juices racing again.

Please Sprojojoing, could you send me a link where to download this track please?!

Remember this is NOT the Offenbach version,
and there is NO existing video of this gig. The
picture animation/slideshow IS made from the
Offenbach and 76' Live in Montreaux gigs,
but nevermind that .... just Enjoy
p.s. I love the part starting at 1:49
