I have always wished that American wrestling would take a shot at building their programs around mostly "clean" finishes. Tremendous match for both men early in their careers. What a loss Benoit is to the wrestling industry, he will never be replaced. Jericho looked great, this match takes me back to the memories when he was at his best. Overall terrific video.

That's why I think that the HEEL/FACE system is broke. Besides almost everyone fails to understand what a heel means (not supposed to be a comedy act) heel wrestlers are limited in what they can do. They have to keep a balance of making the match good, but not perform moves that could get him over more than the face. And if the face sucks(E.G. John Cena) then that limits the heel that much more.

Since when is pro wrestling about moves? It's about storytelling using moves. There's a whole mess of 170 pound indy guys who do pretty looking moves that mean nothing because they put them in no context.
The WWE Jericho is lights-years ahead of the Japan/Mexico Jericho in terms of psychology.

That's why I think that the HEEL/FACE system is broke. Besides almost everyone fails to understand what a heel means (not supposed to be a comedy act) heel wrestlers are limited in what they can do. They have to keep a balance of making the match good, but not perform moves that could get him over more than the face. And if the face sucks(E.G. John Cena) then that limits the heel that much more.

Like giving their highest form of concentration on what's being presented to them. Usually they pay their respects with "pops" after the match is overwith.
