So download one. Then run the ePSXe emulator and go to file > run ISO.

Find the ISO file you just downloaded and click open/ok and should work

You can also use .bin/cue files as well as they work in the same way, hope this helps.

@footieboy50 NTSC-U/J = USA/Japan - PAL = Europe - All you need to know tbh, so you will probs wanna get NTSC-U

As for the error, go to config > bios, check what your bios is set to. The two most common ones that are used are the following:

SCPH-1001 / SCPH-7502

If your ePSXe is set to one of them try the other and if it is not set to either then obviously try both.

@MrJosh1373 Go to options > video > confgure (top one) > select window mode and the size you would like to use (ie 800x600). If you wish to keep fullscreen you can just CTRL+ALT+DEL to bring up task manager to minimize. what do you mean it goes all weird? you able to take a print screen shot so i can see?

Ok run the emulator - go to config then bios

In there select one of these 2 bios SCPH-1001 / SCPH-7502

they should be in there, they are the 2 that are used the most, so if one doesn't work, try the other

Also how are you trying to play the game, disc? or ISO/BIN+CUE?

@SageOfKonoha - Do the following. Run ePSXe - go to config/video - where it says select main video plugin, click the 'configure' button under it. On there you will see a framerate section - click the 'FPS Limit' option and in the box next to it set it to 60.0 - then click ok

@SVR09PS3 not all games will work perfect, just changing the sound driver being used

the game may slow down due to a not so good computer, fi that's the case you can't do much but if it isn't try capping the frames to 60.0

What game is it you are playing?

@kuroxhigure27 in settings there are FPS options, look for FPS Limit / Limit FPS - and set it to 60.0

They can be .ISO or .BIN <----main types, there are some others but these are the main 2, with a .BIN you will get a .CUE file, which basically acts as a link to the .BIN when loaded or w.e

I get the majority of games i want from (Emuparadise)(.org)

@Matin270189 lol, well.. I used to have a Sega Saturn about 7 yrs ago. I had Daytona USA, Virtua Cop, Virtua Fighter 2, Sonic 3D Blast, Sega Rally Championship, Nights: Into Dreams.. plus a few more. I just really miss playing those games, and I really want to learn the right way to set up a Sega Saturn Emulator. lol :)

@WWECage89 I still have a saturn, I got a new one off ebay, well good condition. Then i got my fav game Dragon Force for £30 in really good nik. Usually goes for £90. So i was really lucky, but I use the emu still as well, I'lll start a tutorial this week, Not even hard to setup, It's good fun to use but you do get some errors. I have both nights games and they don't work too well, neither does virtua fighter.

@Matin270189 That was indeed lucky to find it so cheap! Saturns are still out there but they don't look like their in very good condition.. I don't think I'll buy a used one though, just for the fact that the hardware's age is old and the parts are prob reaching the end..lol. Thats great that your making a tutorial man, thank you. @WWECage89 haha very lucky tbh, ended up paying £45 for a rare ps2 game that isn't even in this country as well xD so worked out nicely. I'd actually recommend buying a new one, this is where your kinda wrong, there are a number of specialist websites that do modded saturns (quite pricey) but some are modded also, so you can rip games an play downloaded ISOs on the saturn ;D. Tut will be here by end of week :)

@WWECage89 Yeah, I already knew there were modded systems to buy, but they are very pricey. I also know that you can buy modded or original systems from various warehouses from New York and Japan. They have websites in which to place orders from them too. xD

It is illegal to download Playstion games. If you have legal .rar files - you can uncompress the files using Filzip, Winrar, 7zip etc.

If you uncompress a legal .rar file and you get a .img file - you can easily convert it using free software.

try a differen't plugin, increase the emulator speed. if the game isn't running at 60 fps, then the music try's to sync and well it slows down and gets choppy.

Use romulation for games... 500MB when u get it 50MB more a day its to sotp piracy u can make new accounts for more... i';v downloaded alot of games from romulation not one hasnt worked very good site working pokemon platium (eng) etc for DS there aswell

I use ePSXe on an old P4 computer nad the games run at normal speed. Try changing your gfx plugin and the graphics config.

Different gfx card require different plugins.

u cna save it like any other game, u have two "memory card" files that make it think its a memory card. save it like you would playing ps1 not save state/slate ^^ worked for me.

You can use save states by pressing F1 during game. F2 allow you to change the current save state. You can load save states by going to run at the top of the menu.

You can download a memory card manager plugin and it will act as a real PS1 memory card. Place the memory card manager in the "memcards" folder which is created when you extract the emulator package.
