If anything, all you can claim is that Microsoft copied Apple and then Apple copied Microsoft, but Microsoft copied to begin with, so that means that the only one that actually copied is Microsoft.

With all due respect, your expectations that Microsoft should be releasing a new Zune already is pretty ridiculous. The second-generation Zune came out in November 2007. Six months later, they released a major firmware update with many new features and improvements, both on the device and the desktop. There are rumours of a fall update, and I suspect we'll see the third generation Zune come out in time for the holidays this year. So how is that not regular improvement?
It's not 'regular improvement' in the same way that most Microsoft software does not show regular improvement in comparison to other software companies. Compare Office 2008 to Office 2003, for example. Mostly cosmetic changes after SIX YEARS, and it's still broken! Compare Vista to XP. Also, mostly cosmetic changes after SIX YEARS of development! Don't get me wrong, they have great products like the Xbox 360. Software just doesn't appear to be where they are putting their resources.

With all due respect, your expectations that Microsoft should be releasing a new Zune already is pretty ridiculous. The second-generation Zune came out in November 2007. Six months later, they released a major firmware update with many new features and improvements, both on the device and the desktop. There are rumours of a fall update, and I suspect we'll see the third generation Zune come out in time for the holidays this year. So how is that not regular improvement?

It's not 'regular improvement' in the same way that most Microsoft software does not show regular improvement in comparison to other software companies. Compare Office 2008 to Office 2003, for example. Mostly cosmetic changes after SIX YEARS, and it's still broken! Compare Vista to XP. Also, mostly cosmetic changes after SIX YEARS of development! Don't get me wrong, they have great products like the Xbox 360. Software just doesn't appear to be where they are putting their resources.

Maybe he has some truth to what he's saying.
It sucks when you have a guy like this who gave such a strong support to the zune ends up completely turning around due to the zune's lack of care and support.
He's not the only one. He is one voice that covers a vast majority of frustration and displeasure in something that zune fans wanted so badly to work out (and crush iPod).

I agree man, I had a Zune for a while but got tired of their laziness with software features and the user interface. The iPod is just better in every way, so I sold my Zune and bought an iPod. I really wanted the Zune to kick Apple's ass for being so smug, but they apparently have reason to be - their products rule.

Your insane. They just released the Zune 2 and you already expect a new announcement. This isn't apple! They're not going to make you newest toy obsolete a month after you buy it. And the Zune has been getting better. The current version is a lot better then the iPod equivalent. So many more features, a larger wide screen, cheaper. Not to sound like a dick or anything, but it's just a freakin MP3 player... Why'd you get the tattoo in the first place? It was already obvious before the Zune even came out that Apple is dominating the market, and they will for many more years to come. Personally, I'm selling my Zune because I never use it anymore and the software sucks. I'm not gonna buy an iPod because they're faulty, so I'm just gonna get an 8gb sd card for my phone.
Anyways. it's really not a big deal, all this over a PMP.
