I always heard how great the NSX handled but at the Autobahn country club south track I had no problem out cornering a couple of them with my MM equipped '91 Mustang. My car has bolt ons only and I not only killed these guys in the corners but absolutely rolled out in the straights. I lost a ton of respect for those cars after being on track with them.

Man, honda can't even make a good economy car, especially when it's running on boost, I mean, those things have puny four cylinder engines, that run on boost, and only get about 23 - 25 mpg, while mustangs with thier "huge" 5.0L engines are getting 19 - 26 mpg. Not to mention those turbo charged hondas, probably won't improve much from the boost since turbo lag is a factor that takes place during a low rpm, which does very little for the acceleration, and handling. As this video clearly showed.

But youve got to admit theyre ugly as sin, the 80's was not a decade for good looking cars. The newer cars look really good but their so bloated with safety, electronics, and noise dampening that they end up being as slow as Foxbodies.

So have I. I've also seen tons of them blow up from doing that. There's a reason the domestic guys install better cranks and hard parts. Stock Hondas do not have high quality forged cranks and pistons and there's no magical engineering that can change the durability of those parts because of it.

I'm sure some run somewhere but his must have been about this slow since the best my bird before mods was 14.6 with another owner at the wheel and that's the state it was in when I ran him. Man, honda can't even make a good economy car, especially when it's running on boost, I mean, those things have puny four cylinder engines, that run on boost, and only get about 23 - 25 mpg, while mustangs with thier "huge" 5.0L engines are getting 19 - 26 mpg. Not to mention those turbo charged hondas, probably won't improve much from the boost since turbo lag is a factor that takes place during a low rpm, which does very little for the acceleration, and handling. As this video clearly showed.

You do realize there are Mustang 5.0s that run 2000 or more HP, right? The Honda Indy V8, a 4.0L, makes 650. An extra liter isn't going to put it anywhere close to the Ford. And an 8 liter domestic? Fucking FAIL, a Top Fuel dragster makes around 8000 to 10,000 horsepower with Dodge hemi blocks. Good luck getting ANY Honda internal combustion to match that.
