  • amazing, she took this (great) song and made it her own.

  • excellent !!

    thumbs up !

  • Wow. What a genius. Not since Chris Cornell reinvented Billie Jean have I heard a cover so beautifully rendered.

Can't someone get her to perform in the US?

  • goes out to whoever thinks Dylan is not a great singer: you try sing it the way he does. it's like saying Van Gogh was lesser painter then DaVinci. fuckin idiots.

  • @arrcanamundi Dylan cannot sing. He's a star and his lyrics are great but a singer he most certainly is not.

  • Excellent cover. This is one of my fave Dylan tracks even tho it has one of Bob's worst bit of lyrics: "Lived with them on Montague Street, in a basement down the stairs." Basement down the stairs. Ohhh

  • love it

  • i didn't literally mean always. its just a? very obvious trend.get this album from downloadmusic.im

  • favorite cover!!!

  • great

  • No, sorry... She takes it all too seriously, there's no trace of Bob's irony left. She's got a pretty voice, though.

  • @TheJackOfHearts84 Of course she is no Bob Dylan, she is far better singer that Dylan was, or will ever be. Take it as is given, a great cover to a great song done her way. PS broaden your horizons in the music world and don't stay in one style or performer. It's a great big musical world, so listen to lots of stuff.

  • @phototroon a) How can you know which and how many styles or performers I like to listen to? b) Sure she ain't bad, but she'll never be as good as Bob - take it as is given... ;-)

Besides, there was no need to become so nervous about MY personal opinion - I only said that I do not really like her version of that song (which, by the way, means a lot to me...)

  • @phototroon You said it Jack!

  • EW NO NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

  • superb, stellar performance, great tribute to bob.

  • What a great cover!

@ sammy4657 - yeah, I reckon it would be really cool if the bass really went wild on the Suddenly I See accent pattern in these instrumental breaks..it really is on the verge but doesn't quite admit it ;)

  • I crossed America as a very young man with this album in my ears. It was in my mind and singing it to myself was how I put up with hours of being stuck on the road. I'm devoted to this album like I am to the Clash's first LP or the Stone's "Gimme Shelter". The expression of real heart felt emotion is so incredible. KT does Dylan well.

  • hi! is this in a dvd or something I can buy? :-D

  • great, great cover!!!! As is her version of "Simple twist of fate"

  • A one-of-a-kind legend, Dylan's music touches people of all generations profoundly and permanently. Obviously Tunstall knows this. I found Dylan in 1975 with Tangled Up In Blue; (I remember as if it were yesterday); I found Tunstall in 2007 with Suddenly I See and have been pleasantly impressed by her talent and imagination since. Here Tunstall does appropriate justice to a musician she evidently admires and here she certainly does herself proud. Amazing song, amazing cover. Keep singing KT

  • Wow.

  • I love this version...someone who can actually sing! I love Dylan's songs, can't stand his voice. This is one of my faves of his.

  • Does anybody else keep expecting her to break into 'Suddenly I See'?

  • People so angry and hostile too much of the time, are people that miserable? No, she ain't Dylan but it's still a nice cover. No wonder the world is going to pot, everyone's always pissed off.

  • Amen

  • @warprin It's better than the original. Dylan write great lyrics but a singer he isn't. I can only get through a few tunes before his voice grates on my nerves. KT and Sophie B. Hawkins should sing all his songs.

  • @Lynleyland Agreed :)

  • brilliant version brillian

  • The Whitlams version is great as well.

  • I agree. I don't really like the Bob Dylan one, but I love The Whitlams' version (:

  • sociopaths make the best rock stars

  • Is this avalible on DVD?

  • It's a good cover. I'm a 20+ year Dylan fan. Like the energy she brings.

  • If you like the original version . You should enjoy the fact that KT is respectful to that song. God knows that Dylan sure isn`t.

  • Meh, not as bad as I thought it would be but Dylan's is still far better.

  • She was born to sing those evocative folky/hipster Dylan songs. I usually think covers are lame, but not here. KT is an exception to many rules

  • I like how they all switch from clapping to playing their instruments somehow =)

    She's just fabulous.

  • great cover!! (what a morbid croud lol..)

  • HAHAHAH I KNOW RIGHT

that was really good. i love kt. :)

  • lol

  • Wow, one of the better covers I've heard in a long time.

  • here, her voice must be near dead putting on that growl, anyone else agree?

  • good cover of a truly amazing song

  • KT+Bob Dylan. CAN IT GET ANY BETTER?

  • a great cover !

    I love it !

  • awesome.
