Actually, it doesn't. You can make pretty much any elemental fireworks (including laser) by left clicking firework and right clicking said element. Some won't work, like vine and metal for example, but there are a bunch that do. Try them out and see what kind you can make. My personal favorites include spark and super ball.

I'm sure that this has been posted before, but salt can (obviously) make saltwater which has a different weight and density than normal water, and salt also absorbs laser.

There is a better way to do wood and shape it- put a small bit of powder with seed on it to make the little bit pop up, make water around it the use virus on the wood and it all turns to wood.

I found out how to make your own element! Don't get too exited though, it's in art, not gameplay. Well, take a sreenshot of the powder game. now paste it to whatever paint program you use. now, copy and paste letters from the other words to and empty space to make the name of your element. then, fill it in with the color you want! It's kind of fun. :-)
