  • yeah bleach works the best (:

  • Baking soda makes your clothes tear easily.Source:My grandmom.

  • Great advice! Hey the vinger will even be good for cleaning up calcium deposits in your pipes. Unfortunately our water in our area builds calcium in our pipes:(

  • And what if i will mix soda with vinegar for washing?? What will be the effect on clothes?

  • Followed the instruction on the back of the bleach container for my new clothes that I just payed for and only wore a few times and got a few stains on. 10 minutes later I went back to find out that all my clothes had been bleached to high hell and ruined.

    >:( Me = Sad.

  • @moxielee I have heard that before

  • Im Goin To Add All! Fuck Ma Shit Up! lol

  • I found out about all this stuff years ago. They did a big study and found that old fashion methods of cleaning work as well as modern detergents.

  • How much is a fucking cup?

  • @Archerpyro She is referring to measuring cups. you can find them in the cooking section of any dime store (Family Dollar, Walmart etc..) even alot of grocery stores carry them.

  • Finally decided to spend the friggin' time to learn how to wash my clothes and particularly my whites properly. I bought a new pack of six T-shirts and wore them all once. They were a bit dirty at the neck and I wanted to start off right with the new shirts and keep them clean and new looking. I took ALL the advice and put in bleach and correct detergent. Even put in Cascade dishwasher detergent in one load. Used some baking soda as well. Long story short....IT DIDN'T WORK! Thanks for nothing!!

  • pause it at 0:03... its scary

  • @spumals :)

  • If you want your clothes to reep like Vinegar then by all means go ahead. Otherwise use the whitening product Ritz makes.

  • @oursedatedyouth My parent use vinegar when washing their clothes all the time. It never smells like vinegar after its done being washed. Maybe in you only used vinegar and no detergent, but otherwise its never been a problem for them.

As a side note, they use vinegar because it makes the clothes softer. Especially the towels.

  • i mixed my white uniforms with a stupid purple rug, i feel stupid, i need advice on gettin them white again please

  • She is tricking us into making a grown up Volcanoe

  • @EpicGamerWorld If you were paying attention, you would have seen and heard that you use one or the other of the vinegar OR baking soda.

  • So , do I add this before I put my clothes into the washer and dip all this stuff into the water. Or when the clothes is soaked up in there?

  • baking soda eventually cause build up in the washer and eventually starts to smell.

  • LMAO her only skill!

  • hi u want 2 no how i whiten my clothes my kids wear white polo shirts 4 school as it is part of there uniform so they have 1 for each day of the week so on a friday nite before i go to bed i put them all in the machine with white bath towels tea towels and underwear and set it 2 do a white cottons wash which is 95 degrees on my washer and then if its sunny i dry them in the sun everything stays crystal white

  • so then your kids get their uniforms dirty often? What detergent do you use?

  • @Myobokuuzan i use fairy as having young children and plus my other half has sensitive skin

  • @misswhirlpool Ah I see. I have no children lol but if I did I know what detergent is best for people with sensitive skin :) I just use tide for my clothes :)

  • I am strangely attracted to you !

  • My son has a white polo shirt has school uniform .Can i tell you i know what he did ,ate all day lol? Good old bleach soaking overnight that is all that will do it

  • Hint, poor the bleach wather and bleach along with a little of your laundry detergent into a clear, plastic back, add the polo shirt, set it out in the sun several hours, then wash it, (with all whites).

  • I don't wear polo's I wear button down collared shirts.. and I don't use bleach, I always thought that the detergent is very good at washing my clothes.

  • i was gonna try this but then i saw somone say it ruins colored clothes and none of my clothes are just plain white.i only have like 6 outfits that would suck if they got ruined :/

  • with vinegar and bleach, i have a shirt that is part white/ part colored. if i place either of those substances directly on stains, will it damage the rest of the colored material?

  • Bleach will ruin any colored clothing you have, I have never seen vinegar have that effect on clothes, but you can add some vinegar to water, add a little of the solution to your clothes and see what happens.

  • How is Borox used? What is it for? My grandmother used it in her laundry, but i don't know what it does.

  • i used it to make goop in middle school lol, but its a really strong laundry detergent from what i heard.. it used to be used before people used tide and stuff

  • I add a tablespoon or two to a load with regular stuff.

  • Borox is a base cleaner that you can use around the house for alot of things laundry, soap scum, tile and grout, This stuff reallt works great on all laundry. Put a half cup to a full load and let it set for 15 minutes the wash. You can buy is at your local walmart for 2 bucks. Also i can across a great pretreat stain remover. It is called MEAN GREEN LOOK for this at your local Family dollar etc, This is a degreaser that works greta on all clothes. U can use it everywhere in and out of the house.

  • I have always seen borax, but never bought any until recently. I use it to clean everything! Used it in the laundry, toilett, and it did wonders cleaning the bathtub in my kid's bathroom. The key is to make a paste with it and let it sit on the surface. I will never use harsh sprays in my house again.

  • but if you use vinegar on colored clothes, it RUINS them. do not do it.

  • I'll take vinegar stink over bleach fumes any day.

  • same here
