Love Bill and Sookie,he didn't realize he'd fall in love with her when he met her and she brought all his genuine feelings back he never thought he'd have again, when she found out he lied he couldn't take it back and now he feels he can't have her and is no longer worthy of her. His character is tragic,he lost his wife and children and never thought he'd have happiness again until Sookie. Their soulmates 4ever.:)

Vampires can make biting very pleasurable for a human. Just watch the Bill-Sookie-Eric scene in S4 finale. Sookie is getting really turned on when Bill and Eric are feeding on her wrists. Here Russell doesn't try to spare Sookie from the pain, and Eric can't do it either since that would be an even bigger violation for Sookie. All he can do to try to comfort her is to stroke her head. I bet Eric and Bill are really wishing that Sookie could read their minds in this scene.

Bill is such a jealous ass. All he really cares about is that Sookie be his own personal blood fountain. He knew he had to get rid of Eric because Eric always wanted to taste Sookie and thinks she smells fantastic (like home, I would say based on the description in S4E2). Bill knows that once Eric tasted Sookie, he would not give her up.

It's not clear if Eric told Bill that he would have to drink Sookie's blood. He probably just told Bill that they would convince Russell to drink her blood and walk out into the sun. But I think Eric knew that he would be sacrificing himself since he got to know Russell and understood that Russell didn't survive for 3000 yrs by being a trusting fool. Bill decided he had to get rid of Eric after seeing him drink from Sookie. I hate how dishonorable TB made Bill compared to the books.

@Raydel75 Eric knew Sookie would survive, that was part of the plan. That's why Bill agreed to it, because he knew it was the only way to get rid of Russell and that Sookie would be safe in the end. Yeah it wasn't nice but it worked.

@Raydel75 Russel was wrapped in silver and buried alive in cement. Also, after that...Bill attempts to rid of Eric by deceiving him into trust and a hand shake (he takes silver to Eric) and throws him into cement as well (but Pam rescues Eric). Bill goes to Sookie and tries to win her over, but Eric shows up covered in cement and reveals that Bill was a lying manipulative little sack of shit from the beginning. Bill worked for the queen and was to procure Sookie for her cuz of what Sookie was.

I'll have to buy all aired episode from season 1 to 3 in order to understand what is going on. Bill definitely is a piece of trash. Why does he hate Eric so much?

@Raydel75 (cont.) Bill wasn't late in rescuing Sookie from the drainers in S1, he LET Sookie be beaten by them in order to force his blood on her. Before Sookie would die, he swooped in only seeming like her knight in shining armor in order to tie her to him. Although what Eric & Bill have done to Sookie was cruel, at least Eric doesn't advertise himself to be better than all vampires then turn around & have a hidden agenda. Eric's only intention was revenge/partly saving Sookie.

I haven't finished the 3rd season yet, but I couldn't wait. Had to take a peek. I still love Bill in the fact I find him more attractive than Eric (just personal preference), but I do SO enjoy Eric. He's amazingly deep, many layers, wonderful to watch and brilliant. Ah, but that's an aside, anyone else note the only time Bill had any outward reaction to Sookie being bitten was when Eric bit her. He physically reacted. My theory, Bill KNOWS Eric actually cares for her.

I LOVE the way Eric looks at Sookie; it's full of so much emotion...and feelings that he couldn't confess to her. His final act before he died was to save her, even if what he was doing was cruel. He truly does love her.

Since his personality is a lot more sweeter and kind than the jerk in the series. Bill is well a dick in the series as well, but here take Eric some what. I still don't think Eric should be Sookie, since in my eyes he treats her like a piece of meat and try to decide for her, what her future should be.

@truebloodluvr1 Sam o.O? I liked sam before but now he is awful. Hes a serial killer with severe anger issues and a major thief, not to much better than the vampires, really. Eric isn't perfect but I just -like- him. The first book I read was living dead in dallas and Eric and Sookie where so funny in that book ive liked him ever since. And he has some pretty good lines in the tv series to. Eric may not be a hero to some but hes not a villain

@truebloodluvr1 One could actually argue that killing Talbot was both a bad and a good move: he was the one thing that "grounded" Russell, and his death broke him and made all the crazy come out, no longer contained by reason and strategy. This made Russell more dangerous, but also mentally weaker and easier to trick.

Russell was planning to get rid of the whole Authority and go on an open war against Humanity soon ANYWAY, so I think Talbot only sped things up.

And Eric was acting on orders from the queen when he tried to kidnap Bill. So really they were pretty much even. Bill had no reason to kill Eric AND PAM. Also, by killing Talbot Eric pretty much SAVED Bll's ass and Sookie's: Russell was about to kill Bill and would have if he hadn't been distracted by Talbot's death
