  • Could I say still instead of stuck? For example: ''we're still (in the sense of stopped, of course) at this traffic.''

  • @rickjuniorable No, you could not say "still in traffic" to mean the same as "stuck in traffic." If you say "still in traffic," still would have a time meaning (we've been in traffic a long time). It would not mean "still" as in quiet or not moving. 

  • pronunciation of stuck wouldn't be [stûck] rather than [ stock]

  • @michaelimk23 The correct pronunciation is /stǔk/, with a short /u/ sound, as in "but" or "such."
