This I do know: The legal resident of a home, who comitted no crime was arrested. He wasn't arrested for breaking and entering, he was arrested for being disruptive. The cop could have done several things in this case, he decided to do the one thing that made him happy and secure. The old sob story, "I Just wanted to go home to my family" was uttered by his pitiful mouth so I think we know why he made this arrest. He didn't have to arrest anyone. Cops don't always use the best judgement , they always fall back on what they "think" they can are authorized to do.

He did prove he lived in the house. He was arrested for some bullshit charge because he was angry about being questioned. The only mistake he made was going on the front porch. Cops love it when you step outside because you are then in the "public" and they can arrest you for just about anything they want. Rule to follow: stay in your house and do not step outside when speaking to officers.

President Obama went on to say there a a few things that "would be fair to assume." 1) We would all be angry. If I had to break into my house and the police arrived I would first of all COMPLY with whatever they told me to do. Then when they started asking me questions I would simply explain to them this was my house and show them proof, and that would be the end of it. 2) He said the police acted stupidly, Obama does not know whether the prof was being compliant or not. 3) He suggest racism.
