Thank you for the clarification. I've heard conflicting things on this point. Both in what I've read and in what my coptic friends have told me.
One coptic friend has show me a picture of the Coptic Pope praying over bread that does seem to have changed into "flesh" - it's a very mysterious image.
small correciton, Copts don't believe in the 'transsubstantion' (meaning the actual substance changing), we do believe though that in a mysterious way (which is why the sacraments are also referred to as mysteries) the bread and wine turn into the real blood and flesh of the Lord Jesus Christ..
