I honestly think Lamarr and Amstell were equally brilliant. Other hosts have sucked, but each of them was able to carry the show just fine, and I'd love to see more of either of them. I could care less about most of the guests. The team captains and the host make the show. Guests are just along for the ride, and most of them did well.

mark was 100x better than amstell. dont get me wrong, amstell was easily the best replacement for lamarr, by a long long way. its just a testament to how good lamarr is though. look at the difference in guests between them. lamarr got slash, lemmy, dave mustaine, alice cooper. amstell has anthea turner....

But when I looked some up on my own it just wasn't as good...why in the world had I found it so funny at my friend's house?! To be honest I think the only main demand for Buzzcocks to keep runnning now will be from fans of Noel Fielding. And, from the BBC's point of view, that won't be enough.
