reptiles are easy to care for? how about uv lighting, proper humidity and temperature, calcium dusting their food, maintainig a good healthy environment, and making the environment itself. Fail video.
So, if i buy a snake i need to buy 5$ mice from the pet store to fee it!!! I mean i could buy the 3$ deformed ones without tails and chunks out of their bodies but, i would want my snake to be happy and eat GOOD food, im not gonna buy a snak ubt..

why did this fat chick decide to make a video on "exotic" pets? she doesnt have a lot of information and since when is a mouse or rat considered "exotic"?
What about the research on the diseases that wasnt even said. When i read exotic I thought she would talk about birds and what to get and not, Depending on your taste and expectations. Even the reptile one wasnt too useful.
If you are not careful, both snakes and turtles can get bigger than you expected. Some turtles they sell end up growing as big as the ones on Galapagos island. Snake can also get really long! Neither are really good pets.
I am just warning people. To many people buy pets just to not take care of it properly. (Including letting the snake die!) If people do research first than you are okay!
But often, life in captivity rapidly leads to pain and death for these animals, who can easily suffer from malnutrition, an unnatural and uncomfortable environment, loneliness, and the overwhelming stress of confinement.
I would say turtles require a lot of cleaning and matinance. They are also really bad becuase of higen issues and stink a lot so they are not really what I would call "low matinance" at all. snakes are good but Again small snakes and such but she started taking about rats and rabbits. . . thats python food and are a heck of a lot of effort and can be dangerous as they get bigger.

I love snakes. I just could not stand feeding it another animal. Any animal that lives in my home is vegan, like me. :)

The mice and rats were talked about as snake food. As for why this chick's making the video, it's part of a series from Expert Village.

also keep in mind the different bacteria the reptiles can carry. salmonella is common with them; especially in animals like lizards.

the galapagos ones r the worlds largest tortoise,
most only grow to 10"
snake bites dont hurt only the big ones do and venemous
beardiedude 2 years ago
I said 'like", I met someone taking care of several ditched pets. Most turtles that grow gigantic and snakes that are longer the humans.

More dogs and cats are abused every year than exotic pets. Should we ban keeping dogs and cats too?
