i had a 1.6i with some mods ..was a great little car and i allways hoped to drive an st ..but never got the chance .

If i'd choose for a track-day car , this will certainly be one of them...lovely cars these fiesta's . Great trackday-trash-tool!

atleast he saved his fast driving for the race track

my friend was racing round town infront of me, he spun &killed himself, and i went into a hairdresers, ive learnt my lesson and i also lost a very close friend, just be glad he is on a track for god sake

  • nice car , nice driving > nice video =)

  • Because it's useless in cars with syncros.

  • hmm... My friend double clutches in his ST, and its fine. The Light flywheel is a bit tricky to get use to.

  • there is no point double clutching in a car like that! your friend is wasting his time

  • Yea, agreed the gearbox doesnt need to be double cluched, but you doulbe clutch to balance the motor, and double cluch so you can change gear closer to the corner to make use of all the gear. Ontop of the double clutching you would heal and toe so you can brake later, change gear and balance the car before you enter the corner. Its all abit tricky, but when you know how to do it, driving becomes a lot more statisfying ;)

  • the gains in a car like that would be minimal

  • Me thinks not. Double clutching is hard to learn, but when its done properly i am certian that it is a faster way to drive, regardless on what car you do it in. And couple double clutching with heal and toe (braking at the same time as double clutching) its defiently faster. And you can do it in car like this becasuse ive seen it done. The light flywheel makes for fast de-acceleration between gear changing, meaning that it is curtial for double clutching if you want to maintain speed/power.

  • Yeh awsom car!! iv got 1 ariving sometime in march!! cant wait!

  • good video, if your guna get an st u need to get the new st 185 normal st is a bit gutless
