@finisher234 Someone is either the right person for a job or they're not. A winning streak is great. Heck, a playoff birth would be better. But that's the problem: most people teeter-totter their feelings depending on which way the wind is blowing this month. Late in the 2009/2010 season, we went on a nice little win streak, made it to the conference final....and based on that one little streak, Whitehead got a 3 year extension. Are we going to do that again?

@nhl1982mdon That is the most ignorant thing you could ever say in reaction to this vid. If you had any idea about maine Hockey and what they've done in the past 12 years you may not have made that comment. Public Skate? The Alfond is open for the Public 7 days a week, you're kidding. Maine is on a 14-2-1 tear right now, They'll never go anywhere.

I am glad that you were fair to Coach Whitehead, as it does seem that he runs a clean program and that academics are the priority. Not every D1 program can make that claim.
