Great Sounds as always fro Mr. Cool! He recorded quite a few country songs, as far back as the 60's. This was how i grew to love his singing, from the old albums he mnade in the 1960's.Thanks for the posting!
I wish i knew someone that meet Mr. Martin and gave an acount of the trip he made to Nashville , just how everything went and where he stayed if he stayed a littlwhile. seems like ive heard that he didnt sing the songs with haggard and twitty , it was allready laid down and he just went in studio and did it without them. but still in nashville.did conway or meral even meet dino when he was there or who the hell did he meet and how it all went. i bet that wuld be a great story to be told
@montgomeryps I know he met Conway...in my Conway Twitty collection booklet there's a few pictures of them laughing together. As far as them singing together in the studio, I'd imagine so, if they met in person.

You are so right Dino was the best unfortunately he did not get the credit he deserved when he was here and could enjoy it although he probably would have asked what all the fuss was about? He had that type of personality.
Grandissimo Dino!

@tupregunta He did quite a few albums with "country" songs on them. Mostly recorded on Sinatra's Reprise label. These were mainly in the 60's...

On est toujours sous le charme de Martin qui à l'époque de cet enregistrement avait dépassé 65 ans.

The greatest singer all time lends himself to a country classic. No one could have performed it better...and that's a fact. Just listen.
