the actual product on MP-09 doesn't look as good as those official release photos from Takara. Those official photos look 10 times better than the actual product

im not bothering about the battle station section, because for me, the battle station was cool and stuff, i love the way it looks with Rodimus Prime with that big dual cannon, it looked so cool, and plus, if the trailer section was part of Rodimus body, the vehicle mode wouldnt look so similar to the Generation 1 vehicle. as well the robot mode. and it's supposed to transform to younger Hot Rod to adult Rodimus Prime. and for me, it's a huge disapointment that the figure is not big as MP-01.

They are both nice. The Masterpiece One looks totally movie/cartoon accurate, while the Fanporjects One fits nicely with the Classic/Universe/Generations/H­enkey Toys. The only thing i don't like about both is the trailer/cannon thing. I really prefer Rodimus Prime to completely change from car to robot, like the (imo excellent) titanium version.

Im not sure about getting the FP kit, cause I already hate titanium RP for scale with Classics. Masterpiece should be set, though.

@Gammelbit I think Rodimus is designed to fully transform into car and robot mode without the trailer.

@zaraki888 Yes, of course. I meant that Rodimus Prime should transform from robot into a complete truck and back without having a sperate trailer/gunstation like he did at the end of the movie. That makes sense to me because Rodimus is bigger than Hot Rod in robotmode, so he should transform into a bigger vehicle. It's all about the Titanium version for me. That one is not perfect, especially the torsosection, but an overall excellent design imo.

Finally!!!!! a cartoon accurate Rodimus figure!!! From front to back, he looks like he does in the friggin cartoon. Now i can sigh with relief and spend my money!!! (when does it come out?)

@Dogjy101 the car plugs into the trailer but, theres a piece that flips out from under the trailer to make the front of the car mode look more like the rodimus prime alt mode
