how does a drummer get anointed? Are they anointed when they're born or do they become anointed when they become a great player. If a drummer has faith in god but doesn't play well, would they be considered anointed? thanks to anyone who can help answer
@onalyd Talent and pratice can make one a great drummer. Anointing alone won't. The anointing helps produce result and believe it or not. the drum sound is not the result for the anointed. It is the salvation of the listener or the required change in another person that is the result.
Thus it should be easy to say that both drummers could produce good and excellent music but only an anointed drummer that will produce the lasting change in another person. (You clear?)
@okmich thanks, I get what your saying about affecting the listener. There are so many great drummers that talk about being anointed and I just wanted to get a more clear about what they mean. I assumed they meant god given talent. Would most people here agree that only an annointed drummer will produce a lasting change? I have never heard this song before just now....I was on a Yolanda Adams mix and this popped up. I stopped what I was doing. Working late at night in my office, trying to prepare for what? Another spreadsheet? I had to back away from my desk and get up, and raise my hands. There is no GREATER LOVE! THANK YOU JESUS!

i agree with Mr praise! the message is great and i personally like it!!! :-) however someone may not like the sound of the song!! its equivalent to someone getting up at your church and chopping up your favorite song...message is still great but the sound may not be appeasing to the ear!
