  • The best recording of this piece is of Marsha Long playing it at st. john the divine

  • @MrOrgelbau You are absolutely correct. In fact, of my dozens and dozens of organ CDs, Marsha's ROMANTIC ORGAN MUSIC recorded at Cathedral of St. J. the D. (Koch label) remains one of my most fave organ recordings and that is not because she is a personal friend but becuase it is just that good. She told me making the recording in the middle of the night was magical for her and the top notch recording engineers who worked with her were equally really caught up in the ambiance and that magic.

  • Without a doubt, this is the most exciting performance of this piece that I've ever heard! Bravo!

  • I have this CD!!

  • One of my favourite party pieces! LOVE playing this piece!!!

  • Now that's the way a Swell box is supposed to work!

  • Honestly...some of these fusspot comments crack me up! This is great playing on a great organ. (Great recording, too!) Thanks!

  • Superb playing.

The organ is thin sounding to me

  • I loved this, but dont know why you showed the Trumpet EnChamade of the First Presbyterian Church in Kilgore. But loved this alot, send more.

  • The photos are of various Aeolian-Skinner installations - not just Epiphany - and the Kilgore T-E-C is one of the most recognizable images associated with Aeolian-Skinner.

  • @VermontOrganAcademy Thats awsome, I miss singing in the Chancel Choir at 1st Presbyterian, Kilgore. The Trumpets almost hang over my head and sound so wonderful.

  • WOW ! thsoe Swell shades must be 3 inches thick!

  • A little too rushed in some of the most dramatic passages, I think. Overall an great performance of this devilishly tricky piece!

  • I posted another version of this, not knowing this one was up (or able to find it although I looked). You Tube hasn't seemed to connect them yet either. This piece is also called Toccata in D Flat.

  • I have this one too!!
