  • Interesting at 1:02 you can see both dylan (upper right) and i think eric (upper center) totally ignore those fleeing students just 20 or less yards away even tho they are in plain sight and could have killed them both easy.

What must have gone through their minds for them to decide to stop the worst school shooting ever (at the time) to the point where they totally ignore people. You could have prob walked over an given them a can of soda at that point and they might even thank you.

  • Who the artist is, or whether or not he can spell is not the issue here. It is true that he perhaps took this certain instance out of context a bit, but he just uses Cassie and Rachel as examples to illustrate the point that being a Christian is not always easy. All of us are called to sacrifice, and some are given the choice to give the ultimate sacrifice. Ideally we would all like to think that we would be steadfast in our beliefs, even in the face of death, I wish it were true for me.

  • that was a weird day.

  • I hope these that have such a hatred for Christianity, ne day get a chance to experience the true love of God. God's love is better than anything else you could ever experience.

  • wow, its amazing to hear some of the ignorance from some of the comments on this site. I hope that you guys fully understand the magnitude of your comments towads this video andthe song. The song is powerful because it is showing the dedication those two girls had for Christ. It is a Christian Hip Hop song that's why those two girls were single out. Not to take anything away from the others that dies, but certainly they didn't die in vain.

  • It sounds good, I just wish the video volume were turned down lower. it's competing with his message

  • P.S. I'm pretty sure he knows how to spell, seeing as though he has several degrees; one in jewish studies (Theology). He just happens to have been born in the Hip Hop era and uses it as a tool to reach people for Christ. He was hurt over what happened and wanted to encourage other Belivers... listen to the actual words.

I think it's a good thing a rap artist would say something about it b/c pain & hurt doesn't care what color you are or where you're from. We are all part of the human race.

  • Keep in mind guys that the point of the song is to use these two girls who died for their faith as good examples; drawing a parallel to biblical times where people were set on fire, cut in two, thrown off cliffs etc., because they were Christians.

I know the artist personally, and is heart was broken at what happened to everyone there, including Eric and Dylan. He wanted to speak to a larger issue: Are you at the level where you're willing to die for the faith if presented in a split second?

  • hey R.I.P CASSIE BERNALL & RACHEL JOY SCOTT

  • this is a great song for a tribute!... Da TRUTH shows us that there are christians dying out there for their faith in Jesus Christ... and at many times we are afraid of what people will say to us because we're christians... these girls lost their lives Jesus (martyrs)... terrible, but yet beautiful... thank you girls!.. and thank you Da' TRUTH for reminding us!... stay focused believers!...

  • man the truth is that rap is not a good song for a tribute rap is for gangsta rap and murder and drugs not for life of these people .

  • @bongoguy1 listen to the lyrics, its the message...listen to that ....its real...

  • u know u coulda just put some slow nice music and y did u put da in the title well this was a very sad memorie and i hope that nothing happens like this again

  • "Da" is in the title because the christian rap artist "DA TRUTH" actually wrote and performed this song in remembrance!! The song is about 2 girls who werent just killed but martyred for their faith in Jesus Christ!

  • AMEN

  • what a crap video and your music also sucks...

  • The music and name of the band shouldn't be the focus here. The point is that this was a great tragedy. The only good thing that happened was the Harris died. I recentely read research from the FBI and their top psychologist, who have done research on Harris and have found him to be a psychopath, completely incapable of feeling empathy or normal human emotion, a literal monster, who they feel could not have been helped even if someone had known. I only feel bad for his family.

  • Dude singing does have a record deal brah. so he doesn't need to have a record company watch it. secondly he is a christian artist and is having a much greater affect on peoples lives than eminem ever will...

  • Grow up, spoiled little girl.

  • this shit rapper hoped to have some record company watch this shit. shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 word sentences! its pitiful when a black dude copies eminem and adds whhooooow! I hope your not black stealing nigger music from a white man(eminem), about a totally white problem. niggers kill for nike's and crack. whites and asians(v tech) kill for ideals.

  • i never knew a song was written about Rachel and Cassie together. I thought it was just the song "Cassie" by Flyleaf.

  • lol oh my god. You make a complete ass of yourself and make nobody take you seriously because you don't take the extra .2 of a second to spell the word "the" instead of "da". I can't believe it. That is the stupidest thing I have seen all day

  • Again That is how you spell the artist name "Da Truth"

  • It sickens me... The terrible use of proper spelling "da" You mean "The" Please refrain yourself by using the word for "homies". If you want anyone to take you seriously and I mean SERIOUSLY use proper grammar and SPELLING please for the love of God Use proper spelling and grammar! Thank you.

  • You do know the Artist name is "Da Truth" he is the one in the song......Calm down and check before you speak

  • are you that fucking stuipd? Da Truth is a rapper

  • You know you spelt stupid wrong, right?

And I am aware of that now, thank you, but I don't really care if it is the 'rappers' name, the reason I hate rap is since they cant spell right.

AND - KaityLynn21 is right, the music and the name of the band shouldn't be the focus here.

P.S: You're slow at commenting back, I posted my comment about four months ago.

But just remember... I love you princess.

  • I don't really care about the spelling if the people can understand so suck it up and get on with your life

  • I think we could get along so well if you would just learn to love me. Could you ever learn to love me?

  • if your going to post a video, atleast spell it right...

  • Please do not use the bible as a reference....do not fear satan....fear science for it is what is being used to get you to believe your ancient faith.

Wake up and realize there is bankers making a mockery of the religious institutions..also thanks for making them rich.

  • this song is by a man of god. i pray that get it right now because when you die in sin or are not ready when he returns you then will know.god bless all who died that day for no reason god is not done.jeremiah 16-17

  • HAHA fuck this DA TRUTH HUH Eric was the only one that understood any sort of truth and looked what happened.. Jesus is the farthest thing from the truth whoever made this shit and the song has no clue what happened at columbine and it's obvious they don't know there history

  • i totally agree with u and am happy that eric david harris is my cousin

  • Wtf? This song is fucked up. They paint Eric and Dylan to be fucking villains, read up on them instead of feeding into the media bullshit. They were victims also. They went into the school knowing they were going to die, NO ONE gives their lives without having a true reason and a personal belief it was the right thing to do. So to whoever wrote and produced this song, go fuck yourself.

  • Londil - So that means you're ok with me shooting you, as long as I have the personal believe, that this is the right thing to do and as long as I die also?!

There are millions of people that have been bullied and they never shot anybody. I salute these people, not Eric and Dylan.

Right is right and wrong is wrong, doesn't matter what your personal believes are.

  • Every person has a different definition of right and wrong.

  • Londil - Good thinking dude. Give me your adress. I'll come to shoot you and everything is ok, because "every person has a different definition of right and wrong".

My point is, we need a point of reference to know, what is right and what's wrong. So what might this be? Maybe the bible?

  • That is exactly what people dont get the students werent the only victims, this game is only a wake up call.

  • PjDj13 - help me out, here. Where to, or what to do we have to wake up? And why do you call this a game. It's far from that.

  • That's damned foolishness (litterally). You don't make sense and can't even realize what is wrong. Killing INNOCENT people is wrong. Thou shalt not kill means litterally murder in the Bible. But it's obvious you are confused...you can't appreciate life unless you have a clear definition of it. Life is in Christ. period.

  • And Nobody gives their lives for no reason... true..but how about for the WRONG reasons (hatred, revenge, jealousy, false rewards)? Beliefs don't mean jack ...Don't forget that people used to believe that the planet was flat for a long time...but then someone DISCOVERED it was round and spinning. So go discover truth , seek it ...question but I gave you the answer.

  • uhh, it was a good video except the song got annoying b/c you couldnt hear.. it would wayyy better if we could hear what was being said between the man and the woman at the beginning.

much more interesting than the song.
