  • Very well spoken and true. He's not condoning use of weaponry etc but he is acknowledging that the strategy under this "terrorism" umbrella was completely wrong and has just done more harm than good.

  • "This man is a raving liberal idiot "

I think if you read some of his many books - your opinion of him would change beyond simplistic labels ...

  • These Tuhoe people were found in posession of automatic rifles, napalm bombs and plans to assassinate high profile polititions and random members of the public. This man is a raving liberal idiot and I cant believe he's portraying Tame Iti and his band of crims as victims.

  • blah blah blah the middle eastern refugee entered NZ on a false passport so clearly his intentions weren't all that honorable ? whats all this rubbish about intellectuals man re read animal farm simple concise. You both talk too much.

Its talking that allowed genocide 4 times on this planet by the direct failure of the UN to intervene. As for Tuhoe NZ will see the largest civil claim made against the Crown outside of treaty settlements. These civil claims are of course right and just.

  • What wonderful insight, and I take the point that Stephen makes, we need to get our voice out there on the net, act as subalterns and speak to power. What are great mind he has, inspiring.

  • Maybe you should stick to One Network News?

  • Very impartial. The intentions of the Tuhoe are clearly to spread love and kinship with all citizens of Aotearoa and all so-called evidence of plots to enact violence on other citizens is clearly fabricated.

  • ...a wonderful interview between two men of great insight and intellect. Stephen's book "Out of Evil" is a must read.

  • Ngaa mihi nui ki a Stephen koorua ko Zaeem. Ngaa mihi nui hoki ki ngaa kaimahi katoa kua puta mai i teenei mahi ki te ao whaanui. He mahi akiaki, he mahi whakakaha ki a maatou katoa i teenei whenua a Aotearoa, eenei koorero a Stephen.

  • Thank you Stephen and Zaeem Baksh for a great interview . I remember you from University days back then, and it's great to hear you speak again, with such clarity and challenge ..kia kaha.

  • Ae e tautoko ana i ngaa whakaaro a te tangata a Tiipene... there is a definite need to be more internet savvy,so the world can be better informed about the real issues..

and hear another point of view, other than those of A pkeha dominated mainstrem media...

  • @TinoRangatiratangaTV
