@kittycat2angel I had that same problem before all u do is put a put a piece of tape over your nail and leave the amount of space open u want to paint white let it dry a little then pull of the tape.

If you attempt to 2 colors for the french apply the 1st color over the entire nail and before it dries use your thumb to wipe the color on the tip of your nail in one smooth stroke. this removes the polish and gives you a guide as to where to apply the tip color.

a tip...it helps to stroke toward yourself. Its harder to brush outward as you have less control. Additionally its much better to coat the tip all in one stroke. As a side note....if your nail polish is gloppy you should consider buying some additional polish to add into the bottle.

@jia411 ummm how dried out is it? i think u can try using the brush and stirring it around in the bottle. whatever u do, dont put water. it just layers on top of the nail polish and makes it worse

@jia411 you can use a few drops of nail polish remover into the nail polish bottle, and shake it really well. and if the brush is super gross and sticky, you can use the cap of the nail polish remover and put some drops in there and let the bush soak in there for a few minutes and then wipe it off really well... hope that really helps. bye :)

i do my own nails all the time so i know how it is u have to take time and get its right i have long nails and sometimes also u can use the nails that are already made the clue on one and get the clue frm walgreens and it stays on for two weeks

If I'm not mistaken that is Nicole by OPI in the black shade. I bought this color and its SO blue. Like I find I have to do three coats at least of this color to show up black instead of blue. :( Anybody know of a really good black polish?

I use, Technic nail varnish in Jet Black. It's a really dark and thick black and you can do one coat and it looks a perfect! :) Hope that helped. Loll :) xx

@Liz870 when you paint your right hand, you should try holding the brush, in your left hand, the same you do in your right

this makes it easier, and if you watch really closely when you're painting with your right hand, you can try to do the same with your left

this way, if it works for you, the nails on your left and right hand will look about the same

hmm that's how they taught us in Cosmetology. It's also easier to paint nails with a larger brush. which most OPI nail polish bottles come with now a days. though OPI is a bit spendy.
