I miss him. His recorded work is very limited as he did mostly guest shots on others shows (tonight show). I use to live in Culver City in the 90s and I remember one of my favorite resturants had an autographed photo of him on the wall. Thanks for posting this.
One of the funniest comedians I have ever seen. The way he used his voice and his facial looks to make his routine even funnier. I wish that they would put out some DVDs of his performances so we could see a whole stand-up routine of this genius of comedy. RIP.
My favorite comedian ever. I saw him at the Irvine Improv in Irvine, CA around 1990. Never laughed that hard before or since. Truly, a great performer...gone way before his time. RIP.
Dennis Wolfberg was indeed a singularly funny fellow, in the world of academic comedy (no pun intended). He is sorely missed- he could whip Martin Lawrence, Lisa Lampinelli & Adam Sandler in one breath.
Dennis was one of the greatest comedians ever! I have been looking for his work online for years! I was so looking forward to seeing him in person. Unfortunately, he passed away before he came to NJ. RIP Dennis!
@chayhurst Still breaks my heart that I took him for granted and thought he'd grow old with me making me laugh. Apologies to Dennis, I'm sorry I was foolish, and I miss your unique comedy OVER the filth of today
I always thought I was the only one who remembered this genius. I'm very happy to see others who appreciated his gift. This particular bit is one of his most brilliant. R.I.P. Dennis
I saw DW live in Wichita in the early '90's...what a great comic and entertainer. After meeting him, he was an even greater human being. May he R.I.P. Thanks for posting!
This is back when comedians were original and funny.

I remember watching him on tv many times. He was great, always made us laugh hard and deep. Sadden when I heard he passed.

@lostinmindseye46 Me too! I was happy when I saw Seinfeld and a bunch of other comics did a benefit for his children.

We saw him at a comedy club and laughed our head off...How refreshing to see a comedian who didn't have to resort to vulgarity to be a riot!
