good work it too bad that we cant really use those civilian easy map editor but no bot it almost sad i know that sandbox 2 is much better but it has way to much option setting etc.. im not a team making a video game im just enjoyng spending some time using my imagination making a map for fun making a campaign would be crazy

@jonasldg I did answer your question, just a bit indirectly. If people won't need the patch to see the unlocked items... clearly that also applies to YOU. Therefore, if you make a map, delete the patch, and load your map in-game, you will see the items. If you load the map in the editor without the patch, you probably won't see the items but they are IN your map.

I swear Ubi ripped us off. Well, not really seeing as you can get these object with so tweaking, but not letting us have them in the first place was a letdown. Now if only you could put enemy soldiers in.

guys, If this doesn't work, you haven't extracted them in the right place, you need to go to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Far Cry2\Data_Win32, Delete the two patches (or then save them by moving them somewhere) and extract the new patches in there, then try to open the Far Cry 2 Map Editor, and TADA

if this doesn't work, either, then i don't know.

Considering some parts of FC2 seemed rushed (like the multiplayer), I wouldn't be suprised. Maybe Ubi simply just didn't have enough time.
