that's not 'old style'. that's scruggs picking. 'old style' is clawhammer.

What I mean by "Old Style" is that it is not a continuous roll picking but rather a single quarter note picking. I recon that this could be called molodic picking.

@migasaguiar There are older styles than clawhammer, like minstrel or classical banjo; then there's also two-finger thumb-lead, which is also old.

You're a bit out of tune. Get one of those cheap tuners for about 14.95. They work great. Without one I can't tune well either.
