That's how it goes in real racing. If you're not pushing your tires to the point of squealing, you're not going fast enough.

but in iRacing it is pretty much exaggerated, cause if you hear it that loud, your tires wouldnt last too long, the setup must be pretty bad. Furthermore most of the time it would not be loud enough to drown out the engine sound, so this is not really very realistic

At least driving Late Models in an oval, the tire squeal is the same than in real life. I wish I could find a COT test run on a small oval, but the in-car cam had real sounds (not the muffled TV ones) and tires were squealing as much as in iRacing.

Simple, as with anything else the price is is 100% absolutely and completley defined by the number of users. Not only this, but they need to compete with similar existing products which actually start at abut $20.
