The worst part about this year's november 11th is that now our brave young soldiers aren't dying for freedom... they're dying for some dumbass sand niggers in Afghani land. Fucking sand niggers dont deserve our help, let the towelheads kill themselves and our brave young soliders out of that land! Fuck Stephen Harper but god bless our brave troops!
at school we watch this on rememberance day but i cant watch this without tears.for all you solders that have died for canada my home land and the u.s rest in peace
Beautiful song. Australia is so glad that we and Canada are on the same side, but why wouldn't we be? We know the difference between right and wrong and will always be ready for the challenge.
That guy was being rude and thought "Hey, time basically just stopped in Canada!" And did stuff, and not wait the two minutes in rememberance ( 1 minute at our school >:( )
I cried the first time I watched this video. I make a point of watching it every day as I know it reminds me of all the Men and Women who are fighting now for my freedom. God be with them every second of every day and night.
this ai great vid i love it , it makes me cry everytimei listen to it and when i was a little girl my mom and dad and grandma and everyone told me that my grandfather was in WW2 and he was captured . after he awas captured he was sentenced to die but he got away i dont know how but he did and im glad about that but yeah just last year he died but he died with honor so yeah im just glad he helped fight for our free dome and i would like to say thanx to him for that ( thnx papa i will always luvu)
the teachers at my school showed it at my school. I thought it was so good i made video to the song of a pittance of time for a remembrance day project so sorry about your brother.
i saw this at school too. I was really moved by it but then i saw my friends bawling her eyes out so I did so too. I hate who some people dont respect things like that It breaks my heart.
if I was Terry. I would have smacked the man causing such a commotion. I don't believe in war and all that. but people died for what they thought was right, and I respect that
i never knew my great grandfather, but my mom told me he was in WW1, and he died because of mustard gas poisining...he died when my grandfather was 4 years old...and my grandfather was in WW2,and no one was able to find him, he was found in a hospital 3 months later, because he had been shell shocked...but i'm glad he's still alive!!!
I love this video and this song. I work as a cover classroom assistant in a school and we played this during assembly last week. I had never heard it before but after watching it I had to seek it out on the internet at home and show my family. I'm sorry about your brother! Both my grandparents fought in WW2 and I've heard stories that have chilled and devistated me! These men and women deserved to be honoured and remembered for what they did and I think this is a beautiful tribute!
You are both VERY welcome. My brother was killed during the Gulf War so this video truly means a great deal to me. It hurts every day, every night and every Christmas not having him here. Maybe someday it will get easier. Just pass along the video so others can share in the moment.

They play this tune in the States too on Veterans Day and Memorial Day. It's a fantastic tune, but I can't hear it without getting choked up.

Well, you would atleast wait until the two minutes had past, right? If not, in a way it would be the same thing like the mand did.
