What the hell about fossil genera ? it's one of their master piece that sont is fucking great. about swim to the moon. i don't feel it was their best. look at white walls it's 15min long but it don't seem like it. that song keeps you along the whole thing. Swim to the moon. don't have that little thing it feels like it's not getting forward at some point. still a good song but if they would have made is shorter it would have become greater.

:D yep with alaska as a close second. this album seems to drag on, and numerous forums concur that swim to the moon and fossil genera are the 2 worst btbam songs ever made. and dont get me started about the song in between those...they should have stuck to their own style and not taken a cut from a dream theater album. im also not feeling the lyrics/vocals as much this time. they seem more or less uninspired.

@blacktaxi2d yeah but just because of some fourmies opinions on a song/album don't make it fact. This album as a whole is definitely better than their previous albums aside from Colors.

Im sorry to hear that this album went above your head blacktaxi2d... obviously this album is too complex for you. the "dragging on" you describe is them taking prog death metal 2 levels higher. in this album they pushed the limits of progressive metal a TON. swim to the moon is fucking amazing. for an actual btbam fan not to recognize that hurts me. Go listen to august burns red if its too much for you to handle

creid32, you said it perfectly dude. Not much i can add to that. This album is simply amazing. I'm still letting it soak in. I think it's a lot more complex overall, the drumming is unbelievable.

And i love btbam. I think Colors might have a general flow thats more melodic, maybe. I dont know..

But Just cause you, blacktaxi2d, dogged on TGM, your wrong dude. very, very dumb thing to say, opinions aside.

@blacktaxi2d i didnt realy like the album untill i listened to it about 15 times through omw to work and back everyday for about a month. now i love every minute of it, altho desert of song and fossil genera are pretty shitty. but still theres that one riff in diseas injury madness near the end that is just so amazing.

@oromedonte i dunno what to say their songs are weird. i loved fossil genera and desert of song unitl about the 25th time threw then i just skipped them. now after listening to DIM obfuscation and swim to the moon im starting to like fossil and desert of song. but now im at the point where all i listen to is track 1 2 3 and 6. it changes every month its weird!
