The ES44AH's are the best thing that's ever happened to this railroad. I knew the sounded great hauling on the headend, but a few months ago I caught a Q423 on Washington Hill with one of these puppy's as a DPU on the back...these things SCREAM going up that mountain! Hey, I was in Framingham today and I saw Q437 lined up to go with a DPU on the end. I'd never seen that before, but I guess I was right.
I waited in Ashland for it to go, but it got to be about 1:00 and it still hadn't departed.
