awesome effect dude. I'm trying to replicate something similar meself but I'm having trouble with the fractal noise. Did you mask every single individual line from a full sized solid with the fractal noise on? Or did you have a quicker way to get the tracking effect?
It's doing me tits in. Any help would be mucho appreciated dude.
watch the very beginning of the music vid for snoop dogg's 'sensual seduction.' you can find it on youtube...i thought maybe it was really played thru a vhs, but maybe they just created that look same as you in AE

Really nice, but would've been even better if you applied a letterbox - after all, there was no true widescreen on VHS tapes.
