I'm not really fond of this new opening. It seems kind of cheap how they borrowed stock footage from General Hospital Night Shift. Also, the music doesn't really fit. But I do like how this features the actors real names and character names.

I love this opening! Good job GH! Desperate time for an update and they finally gave it a good one. It's like a modern faces of the heart. Not that cheap opening like before. And thank god it says their names!

LOVE that they FINALLY decided to update the opening, but...DISAPPOINTED in the outcome...when i finished watching all the actors, i was like, "that's it?"

Finally, I have waited a long time for them to do a new opening. Half the guys at the end of the other one were already off the show. It is a shame that they did not do something when Sarah Brown was there as Claudia, she deserved the right to be on the credits.

And as far as Morgan and Molly stand (not being included), they are still rather young. Keep that in mind. Even though they have an important status in the show, the characters still have to develop, unlike Michael and Kristina who have.

I like it, it's different from all the other GH openings they have before, changing things up a bit over the years, including the actors names which they never had before. But at the same time there is something I don't like either, as in it might have been a little TOO much of a change. But I do like the fact that Dominic Zamprogna has now earned his place (TOTALLY not my favorite or anything)! But overall, a nice opening!

Absolutely pathetic. This show still has the worst opening credits of all soaps currently on the air. And I bet it will be another 5 to 10 years before we see another remake. Ha, ha. What a waste of money on this opening, JFP! You need to be fired and the sooner the better. Too bad Brian Frons is your cohort in crime because both of you have ruined this show as it has become the most unwatchable soap on the airwaves.

Not really liking the new opening.... Don't think the song fits in this one because the overall credit seems mellow and the music is a bit too "loud".... and I could do without the actor's names, what's the point in putting in their names? And I would appreciate it more if they put the vets or the adults first.... the teens are not what makes the show.

I really like it, 100% improvement of the previous one and it's an actual opening not those network promo shots. Hopefully AMC and OLTL will change theirs. The only thing is I wish they would've remix the music or re-instated the 1993-2004 version.

lovveedd it!! glad to see sonya eddy and jason cook in there..even though they dont have prominent story lines, they are stll part of the show...i liked that lexi ainsworth and drew garret were in it, but what about Morgan and Molly?!?! the two of them are waayy better than their older siblings..just saying...and of course, the veterans!! john york, and nancy lee grahn, and leslie charleson , jane elliot and john ingle...soo happy!! and of course, anthony geary just makes the new title period.

So much better. Cleaner, and easier to watch. Has so many people I love. Plus more about the hospital, and Port Charles. Wish they had started with people associated with the hospital instead of Sonny, but so glad the ended with Luke. Much happier with these opening credits. Thank you GH! and thank you soapfan10038!
