if not, think about investing in one. I'm 6 foot and i ride a 6'1" board, but im not a beginner

its tough learning on something that small. you need to learn on a longboard for best results unless you are a grom

Since late 1999 America truely went stagnant despite the lies about the "economy going up"(peter schiff). ANYTHING that was invented and/or promoted for sales since then only does one thing, gets you to spend your money and does not save you money from other alternatives. Where did a lot of government money secretly go? IT went towards building a positive phony image of America. Many surfshops would have went under so they also target young people to surf to keep up the payments and image.

word! I surf in the far North of Scotland (mostly in the Atlantic all be it, but hey if theres swell in the North Sea why not. Respect to waterbaby! no streamer dude, hardcore, I wear 3-5mm all year round unless it's a bloody warm day.

It's awesome surifng in the UK and Ireland, it makes you appreciate the ocean all the more when it's really good.

i surf every morning ocean beach san fran ca, water: 56 degrees on average and full of white sharks so i dont know about english blokes being hardier than anyone, i think if you love surfing theres no complaining anyways except for headaches afterwards. i surfed lands end england nequay point, i know i fucked up the spelling. but weak surf in summer i wore rash guard and trunks and i was fine. water has a beautuful look though

I'm a 'hardy' English girl lol...but no, there comes a point when it's just too cold to surf without a wettie. I'm now in full steamer, gloves and boots - water is about 6'c here in Cornwall now. As for sharks, they're not something I'd want or choose to contend with!
