@MrDavidhbortz Nothing could be done to keep him, he wanted to "start a new chapter in his life" as a record producer, he owns his own studio in Kenosha, WI. The new guy that they have, Seth Morrison, is just as good as Ben was though, I've known him for a while before he joined Skillet, real classy guy

i think it was supposed to be his last show but then he stayed because of some reason...

@Blaablaablogger Yeah, I didn't hear them say anything about it either, but I was reading something later and it listed March 20 as his last day with the band. But I also heard that he left, and then they brought him back in to train the new guy, so he played a few more shows (the first guy they got didn't work out, so I think they had Ben fill in for a bit while they found a new guy and then had Ben train him). But I don't know if that was before or after this show...

in my opinion skillet is genius they write music that hard rockers like and christians like. for example i seen them at the carolina rebellion they opened up for godsmack and avenged sevenfold but not long after that they played at a christian music festival

Ben's creativity and humor helped uplift skillet and their podcasts, As a guitar player dude you were the peak, Skillet was your start and you did all you could do and more. We will all miss you. Rock on Skillet \m/

It definitely will be interesting to see them at Spirit West Coast with whoever they've found to take his spot...
