  • I think people that have a Korg microsampler should samples, sound and stuff on a facebook page that would cool. I have breakbeat loop and sounds I collected if anyone out there is interested hit me up on facebook (Lamont Harris)

  • where do you get your samples from?

  • @SummersCovers Hi ! I think i just sampled some other synth i had lying around at the moment. Could have been a microkorg, or a Korg Micropreset.

  • I have to say, I like what you did with it. It's so much cooler than the whole "beat boxing" thing. the loop you have running is more industrial, electro, which is the type of music I'm into.

  • Thank you wery much!

Its really nice to get feedback on stuff! Theese videos are really made at the heat of the moment.

  • If I sampled one note of an outside instrument, could I make an entire keyboard-full of that sound at all the diferent pitches? sorry i phrased that strangely.

  • @liveweyer yeah apparently you can it worked well on my friends

  • Sure you can, but its kinda old skool in the sense that it only allows you to sample one single waveform for the whole range if you want to use the sample as an "instrument", but it really doesent matter when its easo to resample what you do.

Dont know if my phrasing is any better ;)

  • @liveweyer

i believe so, i saw a video where some guy clapped and was able to play different keys associating with different pitches of his recorded clap

  • Great demo, but please do MORE MORE MORE!!

  • Working on it! Ill just have to get to grips with my Dark energy first. Im currently using that one as a soundsource for the microsampler!

  • 2 pieces of equipment I want! Excellent can't wait.

Are you able to comment on how a Dark Energy sounds compared to a Nord Lead 2?

  • does the sampler comes with build in sound patches ??

  • Yes i does. But they are not "patches" , just a collection sounds.

  • hey, I've started using mine now, how are you finding it.....the software doesnt really do much, but im liking it alot.

  • Thanks for the video deadboy75. Really like your music. After watching you I pulled the trigger & placed the order for one.

  • Thanks for that!

Im glad you where inspired, and i hope you have a good time with your korg.

Remember to check out the specs before you buy to ensure that it will suite your needs.

There are a whole bunch of people complaining about stuff thats "missing" but in my opinion they just didnt know what they where buying...

  • i want one too :P

  • nice lil loop, can I sample that?

  • Thanks!

Yep! you can. if u get rich and famous, gimme some credits then ok :)

Take a look at the videoreply for this video.

  • thats nice ;) many people are very hard with that, even if they're never gonna be rich and famous ^^

  • lol.....quiet cool music anyway :)

  • Thank you!

  • incredible....5 stars.

BTW cant wait to get one.

  • lol! But yeah! its a small box filled with instant gratification and fun!

  • duude, that's fukkin awsome! what gear did you use?

  • dunno man, it has white things and some black things, and its on my table.

  • funny that! :) Maybe he meant if you were using any external instruments to sample into the korg? So are these sounds all internal? thx

  • :) The samples i used on this on are all sampled by me from my hardware gear and/or sample librarys i own, so not the supplied "internal" sounds. They where mostly demo-purposes.

Didint find any use for them at all, but they where fun in the store for about 5 minutes untill i figured out the REAL potential of this thing.
