  • ive learned through higher speed low angle drifting and slowly increase the angle as i got more confident. with that being sed i did get ahead of myself and had 2 wheels high in the air but i did manage to avoid rolling.

  • and who said asians can't drive?

  • the music is too loud in my opinion

  • Finally a drifting tutorial that isn't in Japanese.

  • Too bad i cant heel to toe so i guess iam fucked :(

  • FF cars can drift...

    If they have like 500bhp.

  • @Vampurica or if its raining. =D

  • What does fr car mean?

  • @H3artOfaBaller Front engine, Rear drive.

  • @esnevip Omg, thanks so much (: means i can still get a s15

  • @H3artOfaBaller Anytime :)

  • yo, all u gotta do is the more u steer the more u gas and the less u steer the less u gas

like instead of on off with the gass u just gotta hold it at that position..

  • haha he looks so young in this

  • i do the 180 by sliding my corolla in a u-turn while the 90 degree while entering our street. too bad i don have a RWD. i wonder y all new regular cars are fwd?

  • Ff isn't drifting, its powersliding as the back end swings out, and it can't be controlled and goes back to normal. A FR on the other hand has power in the rear wheels to control how much it swings out and to control, countersteering! Hence drifting! You cant do that on a ff car cos the powers in the front. END point. I support Eat here.

  • because the speed of light is faster than the speed of sound that some people like EatDeeznuts1 feel brighter before they feel stupid!

  • most of ppl begin with a low hp car, dam so many professional drifters began with the ae86 >.<

here in Brazil i guess i gotta start with a chevette 1.6s =,( not many rwd here ¬¬

  • studied everyday for A YEAR.....aaamen,.

  • you don't need loads of money you just need a good rwd and a track. i have neither of those :(

  • I think im just going to watch Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift xD

  • @LoneWulfJ3D watch initial D its better...far better than fast and the furious no kidding

  • just like that boom

  • holy fuck my lucky day the sub title is in chinese!! and dont say im a bad driver cuz i owns a r32

  • i dont understand, why does he give that touch to speed when he breaks and downshifts?

  • cutting ur springs only helps destroying ur suspension -_-

  • how do i download this to my pc?

  • whats the game at the end?

  • @1970verica initial D arcade stage 3

  • hey guys how are you doing? just wanted to ask anybody and everybody how did u get into drifting? me sounding a little like a hypocrite i saw fast and furious tokyo drift when it first came out i was about 12 or something, then started looking it up on videos and seeing the joyment and the bads... but ya just wanted to ask?

  • @inuzukakiba1995 intial D bro initial D

  • @misterlooner initial d is the reason i got my s13 lol couldnt find a stock ae86 i dont want to get a alreaddy tuned car i like to do it myself

  • strangly this helped me out in my raceing vid games

  • oh it's wet i'll take it easy lmao still shredding that track xD

  • my ex bf laughed at me for watching this -.- he doesnt know anything bout drifting!

  • i hate trying to hear one person talking when a japanese mofo is talking in the background....

  • "Drift land" that's the backstreets around my neighborhood lol

  • what is under steer?

  • What is shift lock?

  • @wasab1z well, if you're going pretty damn fast, let's say you're in 3rd, you down shift (without heel toe) and quickly release the clutch. you should hear a chirp from your rear (which is why he said he doesn't like to do it on tarmac because it's horrible for your car without good gear/surface). if it doesn't do it, just play around with rpm.. i'm not an expert or anything.. when you're a fast driver.. well.. you figure out new ways to stop quicker.. had to save my 240. she's my baby.

  • @ZRogers91 Im still kind of lost tho, i also have a 240 :D, what is hell toe? is that were u brake and gas? i thought its bad to gas and brake at the same time

  • @wasab1z is your 240 stick? because the last two sentences you wrote makes me think you have an automatic; then you really shouldn't be trying to drift (i tried to and the trans was done). but, aside from that, in a stick, hitting the gas and the brake shouldn't matter since your left foot should be disengaging the clutch. if you have some big ass feet, as you're braking, put your toes near the right side of the brake pedal, then turn your foot to hit the gas. it is as simple as that.

  • @ZRogers91 Yah my 240 is a 5 speed, look at my profile picture :) she my babe... but anyways, so you tried with ur 240 and fuck it up? how? also i meant "Heel toe" that what the dude in the video is talking about. In the video he does the technique where he use his toe to brake and heel to gas? is he doing it at the same time? also i think my 240 has a VLSD you know what that does? does it help me with my drifting?

  • @wasab1z my 240 is stick, she's fine. haha. the ford thunderbird i had wasn't and i killed the transmission. but anyway, i knew what you meant. and bud, do yourself a favor and google search the shit out of everything and anything drifting. you'll find out your answers faster than i can type. but to answer the heel toe at the same time, not necessarily. and to be honest, i'm still trying to figure out a better understanding of what a VLSD is. i know that 240's come standard with them.

  • @ZRogers91 oh ok, i tried googling it but it just find forums with the same conversation we are having lol.. but my brother told me VLSD let ur both back tire spin at the same time, there awhole bunch of different type i know that

  • @wasab1z yeah, just try some shit in the rain (unless you live in snow or somewhere with a lot of dirt) so your engine and drivetrain can be less stressed and have some fun because she's old any way you look at it.. lol

  • i just need a vibrating button to drift...in front of tv screen..with my P station

  • @Jaringan2 You wont get the feeling and the adrenaline...

  • anyone know what blof off valve he's using? i love the sound it makes

  • scandinavian flick + clutch kick = success.

  • i like men

  • @MegaSoupKitchen you like men ?

  • the arabs made a parodi on this video its called - how to drift fwd family cars - drift qorhan

  • drifting is easy xD took me 1 day in a bmw and i drifted like a god!

  • @TheMssayl i learned to drift in a FWD today

  • you dont step on the gas while the engine is off lol

  • and then you steal tires

  • 12 guys can't drift because they have FWD

  • @TheMassyl whats fwd?

  • @silverhalo22 front wheel drive

  • @TheMassyl oh

  • @TheMassyl I have madza 3 hatch and drift biatch!

  • @bnetkungfuman hey asshole this movie is showing you techniques to drift an FR not an FF. FF cars can drift but not with power over or clutch kick...etc

  • @TheMassyl front wheel drives cannot drift.

    its physically impossible.

  • @EatDeeznuts1 front wheels cars can drift, don't confuse a drift with a powerslide.

  • @EatDeeznuts1 have you ever heard of FF drift? if not i think you still ignore that powersliding is drifting as demonstrated by Keiichi as the power over technique

  • @TheMassyl dude you don't even know what your talking about.

Please explain to me how a front wheel drive car can drift?

what is keeping the tail out?

sure you can swing the car into a dangerous uncontrolled slide for a couple of seconds. but that's. about it.

and powersliding and drifting are 2 different things.

and the power over isn't used in real drifting. its used by beginners he even said it himself that's its powersliding because your hitting the gas on the exit.

  • @EatDeeznuts1 using a big amount of handbrake can make the car slide longer and KT said every controlled slide is a drift so this includes FWD, RWD and 4WD(AWD) cars and also powersliding

  • @TheMassyl

dude the E brake is to initiate the drift.

your not going to use it mid drift.

controlling a car in a slide is a drift.

NOT putting the car into a slide, that's a powerslide.

which is why AWD and FWD are not considered drifting.

and dude it is physically impossible to drift in a FWD car, and very difficult to powerslide.

    FWD= EXTREME UNDER-STEER.

    you know nothing.

  • @EatDeeznuts1 what are you talking about??

you can of course use the handbrake mid drift to keep the car sliding and since its front wheel drive you can keep drifting even if the rear wheels lock

you can drift every car regardless to its layout just use the correct techniques for it and i never said ff cars can powerslide, i dont know if you are very hard to understand or i am bad explaining, BTW you can use the search bar to look for an FF drift, dont go to stupid videos!

  • @EatDeeznuts1 i dont think you will understand just with words you need to see it to believe it just go here /watch?v=EFUegaEibwE look this civic cars go in a crazy slide

  • @TheMassyl crazy slide? there getting like 5 degrees of angle.

there throwing the car sideways, holding the handbrake and letting the differential and inertia give them there angle.

they can hardly hold it to begin with.

    that's not drifting.

there's a reason why AWD and FWD are not allowed in Formula Drift or the D1gp

  • @EatDeeznuts1 yeah they have the control of the slide as KT said and that's what drifting is, just like KT said every controlled slide is a drift

  • @TheMassyl overhere due to absence of rwd, evryone just comes in hot into a cornor, turns in direction of the slide pulls the handbrake and qucikly countr steers. wen the cornor ends, the handbrake is let down. but sometimes the counter steer doesnt work too good and the car turns all the way before the cornor ends.

  • @EatDeeznuts1 do you ever saw a rally driver do a 4wd drift?

google is your friend, go ask him, get your facts.

and if they dont allow them its just to keep the tournament like it was before (classic)

and the real inventors of the drift are old 1930 race drivers, and then the rally drivers develloped the techniques before they were used in the mountains of japan.

  • @TheMassyl

omg you are retarded aren't you?

those old race drivers would slide unintentionally because there cars were shit back in the day. they didn't do it for style or angle.. they wouldn't initiate it before the entry (like drifting is done now).

    your confusing racing with drifting.

so basically what your saying is that any slide is a drift.

    your an idiot.

  • @EatDeeznuts1 if they slide its not because they wanted it but because the tires are shit, and drifting gives better acceleration on corner exit if timed right, and i never said every slide is a drift, i said; every CONTROLLED slide IS a drift !!!

and drifting isn't good for racing on asphalt, its better on dirt, BTW even if i am retarted im not as much as you are!

  • @TheMassyl lol wtf?!?!

    you just contradicted yourself again.

    IM FUCKING DONE!!

im not even going to bother with you anymore.

you know nothing about cars period. let alone racing/Drifting.

you dont even own a car to begin with.

    just please go away.

  • @EatDeeznuts1 I'm done too but remeber it was you who said that it's physically impossible to drift FF's and its false.

  • @TheMassyl OMG IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!

    omfg.

your are the stupidest human being on this planet.

First off, let's distinguish two concepts: Drifting and powersliding.

Powersliding is when a powerfull rear-driven car is used to corner and than, with the accelerator and/or clutch, it's rear-wheels are spun under opposite lock.

Drifting is a term reffering to a controlled slide all the way around corners, not nessecarily initiated by wheelspin.

you can call it a slide.

    but its not a drift.

  • @EatDeeznuts1 just shut the fuck up, go tell to the big community of FF drifters that it is impossible.

  • @TheMassyl lol your one sad sad little boy.

  • @EatDeeznuts1 come on man you dont even explain how FF's cant drift even if its ass-dragging its still drifting, even KT drifted an FF car

    /watch?v=c1eHCmJDF_c

  • @bnetkungfuman n00b

  • @bnetkungfuman No you don't. You have a mazda 3 hatch and mess about in it.

  • wish i watched this before trying to drift a roundabout in rain and understeering into a curb... bye bye wishbone!

  • So, who here practices their drifting on snow O_o

  • @cameosam i did on our abandoned back roads :) had to call my friend a few times to pull me outXD

  • @cameosam Takumi hahaha

  • @cameosam I have so have many of the professionals. Its just so simple to slide on a snowy road you could use a rainy day too.

  • I have many times and so have many of the professionals.

  • This honestly helped me alot!

  • ah 240p... we meet again...

  • @c0ccoli ollllllllld

  • Wanna buy a car

  • who watches the whole thing, yeah thats right i do

  • one thing im noticing here is when tsuchiya fucks up. he turns the wheel in the opposite direction while breaking. then as the weight shifts to that input he quickly countersteer's... no repair cost .

  • Can't wait to try these on games and real life on track !

  • Yeah, you're right. Upgrading the seats is hugely essential to drifting.

  • the stinking dub sounds like he's being held at a point of a gun doing his dub. Holy crap he sounds sooo nervous

  • @tpersing88 i know that there are locking 10 bolts but im pretty sure mine was not one as when i was drifting there was a push from one side. thats also how i know that it is indeed harder but not impossible.

  • 1 hour......?

  • so is all this rwd cars? or fwd?

  • @RealJayJohno rwd

  • So can anyone explain why, when using the e-brake technique, he presses the clutch in for the entire time the e-brake is engaged? Would the outcome be the same if you were to just pull the e-brake without pressing the clutch?

Sorry if this is a stupid question - I'm a relatively new driver

  • @hellraiserc1fr Thats actually pretty simple. When you press the clutch pedal, there isn't any power going to the wheels, when it isn't pressed, there is. With out the power, the only thing the brakes are trying to stop is the current speed of the tires, not the constant energy of the engine. Not only does not pressing the clutch in upset the balance of the weight distribution, its a good way to cause extra strain on the engine and drive train.

  • @hellraiserc1fr it would stall the car if he didn't press the clutch.

  • The Master!!!!!!!

  • Lol Lift off.. Accel Off. Using No power. Only transferring weight...

  • who watched the whole thing lol

  • @jonathankundinger think i've watch the entirety of it about 5 times or so now. have it on dvd though. lol

  • @Thetoker so you watched like 5 hrs of this total

  • ameriacn can't drive with real sport cars because the american cars are automatic and automatic suck but not all american

  • @mantelajolie78 I drive a manual Subaru WRX, never driven an auto before. I live in the US, not that I really like living in the us lol

  • @mantelajolie78 wtf kid, you are retarded, plenty of americans can drift dumb ass

  • @mantelajolie78 youre an idiot

  • Comment removed

  • And they say Asian people can't drive.

  • This is Keiichi Tsuchiya. The man that made drifting a motorsport.

  • Comment removed

  • stupid 240p....

  • I bought a Crown Victoria police interceptor, but I'll draw too much attention to myself...

  • i drift my civic in da sno

  • that's easier when I'm in my Corvette in GT5!!!

  • some morons think sliding=drifting.... so sad :(

  • @hso91 i know right:(

  • the music kills it

  • can u drift a auto

  • 6 people cant pass there road test.

  • i got a camaro now with no lsd n limited suspension mods but i can still put tht bitch sideways wenevr i feel like it best way to learn is wet lot n knowing ur car

  • some one here know if if i could try to drift with a chevy monza 2002 original ? or with a ford focus 2003 original too? what did you think that i should change in that two chips to began drift?

  • Is feint like silly speed lift-off kinda?.. Liek weight instead of engine?...

  • @LittleKirra A feint is using the transferring weight of the car to initiate the drift. Take a glass of water, slide it across the table to the left and then flick it to the right and watch what it does, thats really the best way of explaining it imo

  • what kind of suspensions?

  • fuck lsd's welded diff is where its at

  • @sy3rgy yea i know it would make it easier, i just said it wasnt necessary, if i had the money to swap it all out i would, even go to an IRS from a vette or something. i used to street race but i saw some friends get hurt and i realized it was reaaaall stuupid so i stopped befors anything else happened, also got my other friends to stop as well now i go to a track whenever possible.

  • I just had a presentation of Keiichi at school! It was awesome :3

  • this video is amazing and so is keiiji. but i just wanted to say that it in NOT necessary to have an LSD to drift, it just makes it easier. if you can drift in a car without ine though youll be able to do it in one that does have one with no problem. i know this cause i drift my car all the time and it has a GM 10 bolt with no LSD, and no one has beaten me yet where i live, given we dint have that big of a drift community.

  • @disturbedchild666 What is an LSD? I didn't understand that

  • @Barz87 Limited Slip Differential

  • @Carimm60 Thx

  • @disturbedchild666 yea well an LSD would make it easier....so would coilovers, tie rod ends, adjustable lower control arms, castor rods, camber tops, and all your other suspension shit.... Also drift as in on the track or street?

  • @disturbedchild666 Depending on which 10 bolt, its a locking, which still transfers power to both wheels. Typically, cars come with an open, which directs the majority of a power to one wheel.

  • AE86 -3

  • 4 monkeys fell from the tree.

  • He's so amazing, I bet he can drift a horse.

  • @CristianPepa that shit is funny good one

  • FUCK YEA GRAN TURISMO DRIFTING AT THE END LOL

  • as more understeer the car has so easier the drift is,right? What did he say about s13 v s14? Which one has more understeer?

  • what is all included in "overhauling your LSD" once a month?

  • why do u need to step on clutch while pulling e brake

  • @pinoymasterg i think that if you have geart you will not slide very well because the car will be under control, while when you clutch is like you dont have gear and the car flies no stability...

  • @pinoymasterg If you have to ask this question, don't drift.

  • if he can drift anything i waht to see him drifting in front wheel drive

  • @tomaskantor1 well it would just be power sliding and use of the e brake good comment though I would love to see that!

  • i drive bmw e30 should i follow his steps with the S13?

  • Holy fuck that music is the most annoying shit ever

  • i watched this whole damn thing. yo when i get my 240 hopefully later this year ima follow his tips

  • @crazySILeighty SAME HERE MAN IM GONNA GET A S14 AND SWAP WITH AN RB25DET

  • @420YLEM i thought about the rb25 but after i saw a few KA-T post i was convinced that ima do that instead. At least for a while. Then probably go teh v8 or 2jz route after

  • @crazySILeighty THAT SOUNDS KICKASS MAN I WAS ALWAYS A SUPRA/VETTE FAN TO A 2JZ OR LS1 IN A LITTLE FEATHER WEIGHT 240 WOULD BE THE SHIT..

  • SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

  • Keren bgt ;-)

  • im at 1:40 .....is that tanner faust narrating?

  • The fishermen in F&F Tokyo Drift was the Drift king.

  • hey guys im only 12 years old and my crazy dad tought me how to drive handbrake turn and drift in fields....SO FUN and man ur good at drifting...ITS HARDER THAN IT LOOKS!

  • @XYRYANYX yeah my ass little kid.

stop trying to seem cool over the internet.
