Ok im In BA anD I dislike the pride here because they have no funk....like atleast some Alternative stuff like The Schools in the south. It's a disgrace man no Funk at all.
Pride of Desoto Central here, saying yall did excellent (even though we were unable to see yall, since we were like 3 shows before you lol) and grats on the win. Hope to see yall in Indy.
hey we beat union! i was damn proud of them. our pride is amazing as always. im a cheerleader for broken arrow and i know sure as hell were amazing at everything!
im in the kickapoo marching band. I watched u guys perform in prelims and ur show was pretty cool. u guys are realy nice people too. Congrats on ur 1st place win in finals in super regionals!
Hey you guys! I'm from the RR... I don't like the sports, I just like the band. I respect you guys. I heard you guys won some percussion competition. I'm drawing a blank on the competition... Sorry! I want to know where I could find it. I would like to see it. I'm in the percussion section in the band. In fact I have a solo that I took up to state at your school and it is on here on YouTube "Furioso and Valse in D minor" under Renegade Regiment. Please, I would like to see the show! Thanks! =)
i lived n broken arrow all my life well accually i was born n okmulgee oklahoma then lived n broken arrow til i was n 4th grade & now i am n 8th grade & i still cry bout havin 2 move cuz that place was the best & every1 there was nice & everythin has changed n broken arrow now its SAD & i neva get 2 go there anymore & my 2 best friends live there
Ignore this troll. Do some research and you'll see this guy has been going around saying crap like this for years. He's not even part of Lassiter or their band.
I'm sorry. I'm from another marching band in arkansas, and i respect this band. watch the whole documentry. BA was the band of america... were you? no. cuz u suck. BA band is the most determined organization in the USA. so go blow your nose somewhere else...
i suggest only using this when you're actually at the tourney though.. at rehearsals.. act like you're the weakest band out there so you can do better..
hmm i dont really think there's a problem with the whole pride thing.. as far as being proud of what you do, you SHOULD go into the show thinking you're going to win it, as for life.. being all arrogant and stuff probably isnt the best way to go, but if you have that arrogance in marching band, it gives off a vibe that other schools will be able to recognize and can actually help you win..
yea we are the pride of okahoma!!!!!!!!!!! ba tigers rule!!!! we WILL beat union next year and snap the 20 year loosing streak cause our coach rocks the world!!!!!!!!!!!
our preium judges told us they will c us in final n we did our best on our semi final but we got 12th in preium then we got 22nd in semi final n dumb judge didnt even understand our show in final n judeges from other contest all understanded... n field judges were all standin at side lines.... dumb judges
I'm sorry you feel that way about us. Apparently we're just a giant machine of people with no feelings, and think we're the best in the world right? Wrong.
I just don't like the whole pride thing. It's okay to want to do your best and I think ya'll should, but in the Documentaries on youtube your directors seem to concerned with winning. The directors seem like snobs more then ya'll. Ya'll are about the best in the world. I saw ya'll last year at BoA, but I just don't like the attitude.
Everyone seems to think BA is snobby, when in fact we are not. When we do our salute we hold up one finger, it doesnt meen that we are number one, it stands for; one mind, one mission, one goal, The Pide of Broken Arrow
Dude, I was crying so hard this year when we got first in the nation!!! omg, I couldn't believe it. I loved last year's show, but this year's was amazing and a lot more challenging to perform. Plus, they switched me to baritone from trombone this year and that was pretty hard. There were sooo many breathtaking bands this year in both BOA and OBA. A salute to them all!
This video literally made me cry because this being my band's 3rd year of field performance we traveled to BOA for the first time, ending up in 5th place at finals behind Upland, Ayala, American Fork, and Thousand Oaks. I know one day my band will venture to Grand Nationals, but I wont be there to see that day.
As a snare at BA in 89 and 90 (I now ive in DC), it's great to see Tom Stout (pre-retirement) and the program in such good hands. It may sound cheesy but band at Broken Arrow was certainly a very enriching experience for me.
@ccmanning3 Enriching? You mean the built in support goup of peers, grade requirements, learning to be part of a team, learning to work hard, doing something (music and arts) that you have a lot greater shot at doing the rest of your life (than footballs, b-ball, etc)? Heck yes!!!
My youngest son just finished his second year of band, and it's been so poisitive! (This is from an old football player, motorcycle racer, etc, who's more than a little happy to be a Band Dad!!) GO BAND!
hehe I graduated w/these ppl

We need more videos on our drumline. We play some awesome beats but you never hear them, just the huge shows we do each year.
