  • Nice really good

  • 綺麗な音ですね(^^)

    Good sound!

  • Price??

  • 0:14 i thought someone was shooting at me :/

  • This drum, originally developed for arena marching, is as close to my idea of a drumset snare as has seen full-scale production; I'd probably use either a Remo Falams White Max or Evans MX Gold batter, and a Remo Diplomat or Evans Resonant for the snare-side.

  • haha def not cranked at all

  • those are really cool

  • Nice pinky finger!

  • About how much money do u think i would have to pay for one of these? (i dont mind what finish it is) Im really considering ordering one

  • pinkies.. nuff said

  • bottom rim i warped.....

  • Piccolo marching snares: for when you need gratuitous amounts of cranking.

  • Ew evans heads

  • how much what that thing? im seriously interested in buying one

  • THAT'S A FIRST ONE ....I NEVER SEEN A MARCHING PICCOLO SNARE DRUM

  • That drum is extremely sexy. I personally like PEARL's sound but this sounds really nice

  • Check out the top 10 marching snares

    squidoo.com/top-10-marching-snare-drums

  • how much did you get this for?

  • OMG its soooo going on my drum set!!!

  • how much do they cost????

  • Where can you buy one of these?

  • @XxStrongDrums1996xX email Lonestarpercussion or contact your local music store

  • @pbProductions96 how much for it?

  • Where can I buy one?

  • these guys are good

  • does this dum come with any sort of mounting? either sling or carrier

  • can these drums be used outdoors? ;3

  • @treeofmedia Umm...wow, im outside in this vid arnt i? who said you cant use this outside? its not illegal or anything lol

  • @pbProductions96 Hehe , I mean , In parades and all that? I just saw a website about the Drum and it says its an " indoor " marching snare

  • @treeofmedia They use the term "Indoor" to simply symbolize that this snare is intended for indoor marching corps. Playing it outside won't effect it's sound.

  • @pbProductions96 He meant for outdoor purposes such as a field show. Whereas indoor would be a drumline show o-o

  • @pbProductions96 which do you think are better: pearls or yamahas?

  • @ajcf1995 Both are great drums companies, its a really hard question to answer like ive seen some shitty pearls but also seen some amazing ones just like ive seen with yamaha, it just depends on how you maintain them, both has pros and cons to them

  • ARE YOU READY??? NO

  • Hmm no wonder why this sounds like a machine gun..we just goof around in the desert playing these and they run away.

  • your bottom hoop is warped

  • I've never watched this kinda drumming before, those rolls are tight as hell!

  • those are some nice hands there man

  • This is probably not the best video for me to ask this question, but why are marching snares soooo tightly tuned and that sound I'd never find it desireable

  • @wiirluvenit Well im pretty sure this isnt going to be the best answer but its just the way marching snares has evolved kinda like how most drumines or corps doesnt use straps anymore, and core now a days have a high demand in clarity so snares now are more like a snap than a traditional snare sound, hope this helps

  • @pbProductions96 i like a tight sound cuz when i have to buzz role it works for me

  • @wiirluvenit Modern marching snares are cranked down because most modern drum corps desire that crisp articulate snare sound. It also takes more skill to play a tightly tuned snare because of the snare sound. Also, the higher pitch of the drums project more on the field

  • @wiirluvenit Marching snares are tuned very tightly so that you can clearly hear the articulation of each stroke from each player. Furthermore, it allows for faster and more complex rhythms.

  • @wiirluvenit MArching snares are tightened so much because it shows the level of precision of the corps/players. If they weren't tuned so tightly, it would sound like a bunch of crap pooping out of an ass.

  • @wiirluvenit its easier to play faster when the head is super tight ad staccato, because you get more rebound, and its easier to clean with less ovetones. I personally think it sounds extremely unmusical, I prefer my 17 x 18 rope tension field drum to chop out on

  • @SomeGuyDrumming Such as Cooperman would manufacture; they specialize in reproduction 19th Century and sooner military field drums packing lacing on bass drum-style wood hoops and twisted gut snare strands through purpose-cut holes in the reso hoop. With nylon lacing and Remo Coated Pinstripe batter/Emperor Snare resonant heads, such a drum can be played in nearly all weather.

  • @wiirluvenit its also so the the sound cuts more over all the brass, if the drums were tuned really low and not so tight the sound wouldnt cut and you wouldnt be able to hear them

  • that is a tiny little thing. do any indoor groups use them?

  • @timn690 tates creek and odyssey percussion

  • @timn690 Terminus atlanta percussion used them this year.

  • @DynuhstyzHD no there just like the regular ones but shorter...

  • my high school marches these. i dont understand why we didnt get full shells.

  • Just got an email from Lone Star Percussion stating this drum is 742.00 and change. Big jump from 542.90.

  • @tommy2122108 Canon PowerShot SD880 IS

  • Beautiful

  • when can i get one of these?
