  • at the 99cents only store they sell 3 liter bottles for 99cents!

  • I go to Wal Mart and bought 5 gallon water bottles and cost me .37 to fill it up. I also found a 6 1/2 gallon water storage can from Loew's. For my need as a one person in a house hold, this is good enough for me.

  • Good stuff! I love the Wally world water containers. I have three of them. Keep up the good work.

  • If you don't trust you water, you can filter it before storing it.

  • Also store water in dark colored barrels or wrap them in order to keep the light out of the water to prevent any growth of bacteria.

  • What about the poisonous fluoride that they put in the tap water? Just a question.

Find someone who has a well and Use iodine for purification since most Americans are already iodine deficient anyway.

  • No monitor, and just a few items on the table. Pump for the barrles, a 5 year pouch of water and a Waterblox. I try not to have too many items to display due to the nature of the recording limitations.

  • it's too bad the video didn't show your whole display on the table or monitor.

  • You need to add about 4 drops (1/2 tsp)of non scented household bleach to every gallon of water. Make sure that the container you use is VERY clean. So figure out the size of your container and adjust accordingly.

  • @kmikesell There's about 20 drops in a ml. and 1/2 tsp would be 2 1/2 ml or

    50 drops ???

  • I drink wellwater that is not chlorinated, and he said dont store water chlorinated because its already chlorinated but thats assuming its tap water, how much chlorine should I use per liter, anyone know? I saved TONS of thick plastic juice containers I want to fill, but I might NEED to chlorinate it because mine is not chlorinated, anyone know?

  • Milk jugs are meant as a consumer product and will not store for very long, better to go with 2 litter bottles.

  • how about empty milkjugs

  • Milk jugs yes but it is far easier to insure the cleanliness of a 2liter bottle(2LB) that you just emptied. If you don't drink enouough soda? Collect bottles where you can and follow the steps he mentioned. I have a chest freezer I clean 2LB and store them in there if we buy a lot of food to store we simply place the F2LB elsewhere. Why ice4chest and hurricanes zap power food is still good a week out of power b/c we store 2LB of water/ice in the freezer 7 days later still frozen.
