@WatjeWat she kinda needed to be though since the idea that she was indestructible was getting stale and too predictable, I mean would you wanna see a movie where a good guy like Alice has the "oh my god" powers to destroy the bad guy like the zombies and Wesker over and over again? I personally thought making Alice mortal again was a good call for a twist in plot to make it more unpredictable, force her to utilize some of the other things that makes Resident Evil good.
