  • Wedvarn: you posted this 19 days ago. Are you still completely ignorant?

  • suppressor.........not silencer.

  • @akaylor5

Suppressor and or silencer are acceptable on ATF form 4...:) JP

  • @akaylor5

Wrong. The historically and legally correct term has always been "silencer". Just because "suppressor" is more literally accurate by definition (mostly just for pedantic dingleberries) to insist upon its use to the exclusion of the original and still current legal nomenclature is just ridiculous.

  • Are these suppressors legal in the state of Florida ? How can you get a suppressor anyway i thought it was a felony unless you had a permit from ATF..? Any knowledge on this is appreciated.

    PS fuck the ATF

  • What west coast states sell surpressors? I'm wiling to drive to Oregon or Nevada from California to purchase a surpressor

  • @tiburon760

Sorry...you have to reside in a "free" state. Nevada would be a good choice, you can't just drive over and pick one up. All kinds of backgrounds and the paperwork takes 4 months.

You can either move or vote the commies out of your state house...good luck with that...JP in FREE 10-E-C

  • @Gunrunnersusa Where do you guys shoot outdoors? I live in the suburbs and have only shot at an indoor range. I want to go plinking but dont want to get arrested or have a stray bullet kill someone.

  • @Gunrunnersusa damn commies man, I think it is illegal in NC

  • Effective range of the MkIII

    12 feet

    lulz

  • wut is the most accurate and long ranged handgun?

  • The grass is always purpler on gunrunnersusa

  • Just out of curiosity, at what kind of distance is it realistic to keep a grouping on a silhouette with that rate of fire?

Oh, and how long would it take to change the barrels on this gun?

  • can california have supressed guns?

  • @TheChewyandnene

    Don't think so....commie laws out there...JP

  • Do you have a web site to submit orders through? Where is ur shop out of. Very interested let me know.

  • @amreed33

Google C3 dealer in your state of residence...I'm sure he can hook you up.. JP

  • wish it diddnt take so long to get one though...

  • @R2RO20

But some things are worth waiting on....lol...

The average wait time for our paperwork right now is about 4 months on a suppressor and 4.5 months on a machine gun.

Good things come to those who wait....:) JP

  • Is it true that if you manage to get a suppressor that you're regularly 'contacted' (read: harassed) by authorities?

  • @TheScienceFoundation

Nope...several of the "MYTHS" with NFA ownership.

    1. ATF/LE has a right of entry to examine your stuff anytime....FALSE.

    2. You pay the transfer tax every years....FALSE one time tax per NFA item.

    3. No one else can shoot your NFA items. FALSE...anyone can shoot them as long as your present.

    4. If you move you can't take your NFA items with you...SOMETIMES..if you move from a FREE state to a NON FREE you must leave the NFA there locked up and only you have a key.. JP

  • where can you get a mk3 suppressed?

  • @1337blahred

GemTech, AWC, John Norrell, AAC....they are out there...JP

  • Just too nice.

  • @criticalmass181

    silence is golden...JP

  • @Gunrunnersusa Too true. Take care. M.

  • @criticalmass181

    You too brother...JP

  • Do you like the Ruger ? How much does it jam?

Do you have any other 22 lr pistols (SIG, BROWNING, WALTHER)? If so how are they compared to this one?

  • @nerdkiller15

Yes..but screw on cans offer much more choices for a few db more..

I really liked the Mosquito, but the new GSG 1911 has bumped it off the number one pistol platform.

    JP in 10-E-C

  • Ear noise reducer ? for a .22LR ? in an open feild ? thats like dropping a needle in a hay sake how silent it is

  • @EagleEye4Hire

.22 without a can will damage your hearing...believe me I know. When I was 12-15 I shot many thousand rounds without muffs...I have lost a lot of hearing to the "little" .22.

With a can attached no muffs are needed...JP

  • fuckin redneck ill hook MYSELF up

  • Wow

The supressor is so good, it even reduced the windnoise in the mic lol

  • if you buy a suppressor used, do you still have to fill out an assload of paperwork?

  • You can buy them in Nevada, too

  • i think the people that are againts Suppressers have not fired my XD45 with no hearing protection just my .02

  • thats so fucking quiet...

  • i live in California we have no gun freedom here, no mag with more than 10 rounds, no full automatic guns, 10 day wait, no CCW, no hollow points at the ranges, no rapid fire also.

  • Eek, keep that nose picking finger OUT of the trigger guard until you're on target!

  • @anApparition

It is called FREEDOM...America is the land of the free. JP

  • @anApparition

Perhaps because some people don't want to wear ear protection when they do their shooting.

  • @anApparition You ever think that some people's neighbors don't want to hear guns going off all day? Are you one of those inconsiderate assholes that don't give a shit about anyone else? You probably think suppressors are just so guns can sound or look "cooler". What are you doing looking for vids with "silenced" or "suppressed" in the title anyway? So you can act like you know what you're talking about? Get a life.

  • @richtherake You expect me to believe that people buy silencers just to make it quieter for their neighbors?! You're just fooling yourself little Richy. You didn't do a thing to change my opinions about suppressors on guns. If anything, I'd want to know my neighbor was firing guns rather than not know if they were firing guns. For one, anywhere around here, you can't even fire guns around 'neighbors' at less you're at a firing range. Therefore your reasoning is a pile of fail....sorry....

  • @anApparition I love the fact that I can own a suppressor and fire my guns on my PRIVATE property in the country. I don't live in a city for a few reasons. I can't stand most people (you included), I like the quiet, and I love my freedoms. My closest neighbors are an elderly couple about 300 yards to the west of me and I shoot at targets to the east. I purchased my suppressor so they didn't have to listen to me enjoying my favorite past time. I've talked to them about it. They love suppressors.

  • @anApparition You posted this a year ago, but im hoping youre still not this retarded.

  • @anApparition

If you've never fired a suppressed firearm, its an absolute blast. Though there is really no practical (legal) application for suppressors, the fun factor is way through the roof. I'd recommend finding someone to shoot one with :)

  • @anApparition Maybe it's because I like the thought of not losing my hearing. Ear plugs work only to a point. Or that in the 50's you were considered rude NOT to use one. It wasn't until movies put the thought that every person using a suppressor was a murder made congress take action. Do you believe everything the movies say?

  • @anApparition The reason people would need a supressor is very simple. The less and intruder knows about you, the better. For instance, if you choose to "jack" a round into the chamber of a shotgun, you tell him two things, your location and that you're armed. Silence is golden. There is a point to it. Now, you could go your route and put a billboard on your chest and die, or, you could suppress the noise, shoot the intruder and stay alive. You pick which one. Common sense rules!

  • @charlitunaman2002 Everything is just as loud about using a suppressor except the act of firing itself so I don't see the point in your argument. You're taking the intruder down if you fire with or without a suppresor and it's nearly as loud preparing the gun for firing. Wouldn't you want your gun loud so as to possibly alert your neighbors into calling 911 or something? The intruder could use a silencer just as easy as you could too, killing your family silently one by one in their rooms.

  • @anApparition Nothing is just as loud. just hearing a mechanical action is nothing like hearing a muzzle report. Not even close. You would never want to give away your position. You know little if anything of combat tactics. If you intend to follow yours, you're a dead man walking. If people living around me can hear my weapon.....chances are, I'm dead. If an intruder uses a silencer, at least we are on an even playing field. But you my friend are dead

  • @charlitunaman2002 How is the playing field even if an intruder were to break into your house while you're sleeping and kill your family one by one including you when you never woke up because you didn't hear them. It's only an even playing field assuming you were aware of them, otherwise the fact that the intruder was using a silencer could get you and your whole family killed.

  • @anApparition If a guy can get through a double bolted door with a steel bar securing it, all of the sensors that trigger one very loud alarm, instantaneous bright halogen lights, two pissed of dogs, a double bolted steel door securing a hallway, then he's faced with darkness, a shrill alarm and the bright muzzle flash of a weapon. I'd be impressed. I know plenty of criminals, most can't afford a silencer. Stolen guns are cheap. Stolen silencers are rare and very expensive

  • @anApparition

SO ppl wont hear you shooting DUH!

    pfft

  • @anApparition

Shooting loud guns around neighbors is RUDE. Shooting guns at the range without a suppressor is RUDE. Shooting guns without a suppressor hurts you EARS.

The question is why would anyone want to use a gun WITHOUT a suppressor?

  • @anApparition

    hearing protection.

  • @anApparition

    hearing protection

  • @anApparition

Even with ear plugs, gunfire can, over time, damage the ear drums.

  • @anApparition ......no point????? It saves your hears and if you have neighbors near by while you plink, it is a huge curtsy and respect for them to make your hobby what could be to them, less noisy and cut down on noise pollution. There should be no special paper work to have them nor should they be classified as a firearm. They should just be a common accessory like a scope or bipod. If we don't fight for our tights, they will not hesitate to take them away!!!

  • @makun16

Those bastards better not try to take away our tights....

  • @bored7661 lol yeah i realized it after the fact that i misspelled. Happens to the best of us.

  • @makun16 regardless, they will never get my tights.

  • @anApparition sometimes your neighbors don't like it when they hear gun shots going off all day.

  • @anApparition

Even with hearing protection the use of firearms can still ruin your hearing. So next time you say there's no point in civilian ownership of suppressors, remember that you're wrong.

  • @anApparition

There are many reasons as to why a person would want a suppressor. They reduce the chances of having problems with your hearing, and they're just all around a fun addition.

  • @anApparition and say u gatta do dirty work, u want a mutha fuckin silencer

  • @anApparition

I don't think you actually know the purpose of a suppressor. Suppressors do not make the gun go "pew pew pew". They simply serve to reduce muzzle flash and noise to a more acceptable level, but even with a suppressor the noise can still cause slight hearing damage. They're certainly not the "silent assassination tools" that the entertainment industry has come to portray them as. This gun is an exception, however, because of the very small cartridge it fires.

  • @DeserterTownsend

The sound we hear upon firing consists of three components; muzzle blast, supersonic crack, action cycling.

Supressors reduce the muzzle blast component of firing. Subsonic rounds eliminate the other component, internal buffers can reduce or eliminate cycling noise. The "pew, pew, pew" is what you get as those elements are moderated leaving the greatly reduced puff of exhaust from the supressor. Hollywierd screws up the instance of criminal use mostly.

  • @moski1476529 - I'd even go on to say there is a fourth sound, the noise of your projectile striking the target/backstop. This is especially noticeable indoors, or shooting at steel plates. I find this to be the loudest noise of all, especially with subsonics.

  • @anApparition

I bet you live in California. The reason is that some of us hate earmuffs and like the sound of it suppressed and think it looks cool.

    GO HUGE A TREE!!!!!

    P.S. I shot it with a suppressed 22.

  • @nerdkiller15 and also with suppressed u dont worry about neighborer gettin mad

  • @anApparition It's fun and cool. It's not like you would buy one to kill someone with.

  • @anApparition in Finland a suppressor is about as regulated as a can of coca cola. Most european countries infact have pretty lax regulations on suppressors, though we have it best in Finland. I got a free .22lr suppressor with a gun once.

  • @1873Winchester I got my Mk III in less time than it takes me to get a meal in a sit down restaurant but to get a suppressor it takes 9 months.

  • Yup...CCI standard velocity 1070 fps and federal gold target 1200 fps are the only ones I shoot with my Browning Buckmark Camper SS....great video guy....we cant do that kind of shit up in Canada :(

  • how can .22 ricochet around in the skull!? the fuck!

your brain cavity is mostly fluid. have you ever tried to bounce something underwater? it doesn't fucking work!

  • omg

    It is very quite

  • Do you guys know anything about ballistics? .22 LR bullets will not bounce around in the skull, and if they don't have enough velocity to penetrate the skull completely they will just flatten once they hit the other side of it. The only thing that it could do that is even remotely similar to bouncing around inside of a skull would be fragmenting inside the brain.

  • @GunnyJH I don't know. Bullets do the strangest things once they hit something solid, and there's no way you can predict what a bullet is going to do.

Mind you I do agree, when you say "bounce around" what's more likely is that the thing fragmented in the brain.

You know, neither option sounds like a lot of fun, persoanlly.

  • i would trust 22lr with my life

  • .22 does NOT FUCKING BOUNCE AROUND IN THE SKULL, FAGGOTS.

  • yes it does my dad works at duke hospital and he has had numerous gang members that have been brought in being shot by a 22 and it goes through one side of the skull but is to weak to exit so it bounces around in the skull

  • @skylerbob8 - haha you are very incorrect sir. thanks for showing your idiocy in many ways. lack of knowledge and lack of communication skills.

  • @skylerbob8 it doesnt bounce but it will ricochet of the other side.

  • I love Rugers. Not my first choice for defense but they have class.

  • unsupressed mk II's sound like farts in the wind anyway haha

  • No, if you shoot any gun, including a .22 without hearing protection you are a fool. It's not a fart in the wind, its burts of 150 decibels and that is more than enough to damage you hearing.

  • @Shinerbop

clearly it was an i exaggerated, but the .22's report pales in comparison to any high caliber.

  • What kind of rounds are you using? Curious cause I hear of a lot about .22 rounds jamming up constantly, just in general.

  • cci standard velocity...JP

  • That silenced MK III is used by the Navy SEALS to assassinate people, cause they're quiet! The trigger pull makes more noise than the round exiting the chamber!

  • everything is strange in this video... the guy... THE GRASS?!?!?! also the guns look weird

  • He sure has a habit of pointing the pistols up in the air for no apparent reason.

  • Because theres no one up there i guess. It might just be his little saftey habit

  • Bullets come down you know...

  • No they dont, they stay up in the air just because i didn mention that a .22 wont kill anybody if it hits them coming down.

  • Hahahaha! Your an ignorant one...

Why would the Navy Seals use them for missions if they didn't even break skin? .22's are the assassins gun of choice because it can be easily silenced and when the bullet enters the skull, it bounces around in the brain. Barely break skin, pleeeaaase... get your facts straight.

  • I said coming down, learn to read English. Navy seals don't lob 22lr bullets at people from a mile away. When you shoot a bullet up in the air that high all of the energy comes from the mass of the bullet and gravity. the bullet wouldn't have near the energy that it does when it comes out of the muzzle.

  • btw, do you know why it Bounces around in the skull? because even at close range a 22lr ONLY has enough energy to penetrate ONE layer of skull. 22lr will kill, but they are weak.

  • He holds them up becasue he wants to show em to the camera :-)

  • Where can one find information about this gun/manufacturer?

As long as I see it's not a take-off silencer, it has app. same OAL as the hunter, but the silencer is implemented in a barrel itself, with front sight on the silencer.

So, it is pretty hard to tell just by looking, that this is a silenced pistol.

    Is this right?

  • Yup, oal is the same, but integrally suppressed are quite a bit thicker, which is a giveaway over a stock ruger. Also, the barrel of the second gun is very short compared to the length, it probably would decrease accuracy and muzzle velocity a little.

  • good thing you had the ear protection on!

  • uh...why is the grass purple?

  • omg...i live in california...so i will never own a supressed gun....i'm so sad.

  • me too...i fkin hate it

  • @bin31z

    Get out and vote.

  • @bin31z

    UCSR: United California Socialist Republic

  • @bin31z I live in penncylvania , ill never own one neither

  • where can you buy one of these?

  • From me if you live in Tennessee. JP

  • the grass is purple!!!

    WTF?; WHY?

  • nice comparison

  • Info on the silencer?

  • cool very BIG difference soo where can i buy the silenced model?

  • im trippin outttt

  • why in the background the grass seems purple?it's dawn outside?

  • dont eat mushrooms before watching youtube

  • sounds like an airsoft gun with that silencer

  • wtf is up wit the purple gras

  • I think it's a fertilizer but Im not sure.

  • that's some f**ked up fertilizer :P

  • ol' dan what a guy

  • They both sound extremely quiet anyway, so maybe the suppressor's not really all that necessary. Still nice to have if you wanna protect your hearing

  • I just filled out my paperwork for an AWC AMphibian and I am giddy about it.

  • Hahaaha!! LOL! someone could be firing it next to me and I wouldn't notice it.

  • very quiet indeed sir, it sounds to me like a 20-30 decibel reduction, very impressive.

  • what do i need to buy to make mine quiet like that?? very impressive!

  • Do a search on the web and you`ll fid out! for reseach purposes only.

  • awesome!

  • what is the quit's handgun there is on the marked?(with silencer)

  • Dude the Suppressed one sounds like it's not loaded

  • Dude...that pretty quite isn't it.

If you shoot one you will buy one..

    Come see me

    JP in 10-E-C

  • I want a suppressed Ruger .22.

Are the laws governing their distribution more relaxed than those for higher caliber weapons?

  • No same tax stamp, photo and prints. All NFA rules apply from .22 to .50 BMG. Thanks JP in 10-E-C

  • Too bad I live in Canada so the rules are usually different. Can you believe there's a petition circulating in Canada, which was started by the Mayor of Toronto, recommending a nationwide ban on handguns? I am not amused. I'll have to lookup the CFC rules I suppose. God this country's ignorance pisses me off.

  • "dumbest looking" ?????/ who cares? Can you name a "pretty" .22 that can nail 0.452" tight groups all day long at 25 yards?(with non-match grade ammo)

    doubt it !

  • Hämmerli X-esse and S&W M41 are fairly "pretty" .22s and decently accurate, but, yes, good target pistols usually are - and should be - form following function.

  • @mrblisterfist

Screw him. Ruger Mk I/II/III are all very nice looking pistols.

  • i live in arizona can i own one of those sweet babys.

  • Of course. Even I can own 1 of these in Kalifornia where we have some of the strictest gun laws. You just have to be 21 and not crazy/insane.

  • JP can't hook ME up. Thank you, Missouri laws.

  • Ha, that's AWESOME. The trigger being pulled is the only thing you can even hear.

I think smaller caliber weapons are highly underappreciated these days. I blame Dirty Harry >_>

  • badmoonryzn,since i am only 14 i cannot buy firearms but my dad had a S&W 6906 9mm pistol,

and an m1 carbine .30carbine.but then we came from vacations and found that the 9mm pistol was stolen so now we or should i say i have a ruger mark 1 .22LR pistol.

  • where can i buy

  • Nice discipline on waving the pistol around. Pay more attention to where you are pointing the end of that gun.

  • I can't find gunrunnersusa. Hook me up?

  • How much did that setup (with transfer) cost you? Do you know of any adapters for the MKIII hunter? (probably not, the crowned barrel would be a problem) Did you just buy a top assembly?

    Thanks for your help.

  • Has to be standard. Subsonic ammo won't cycle an automatic.

  • Some subsonics do cycle, although not very reliably. I use them in my p22 with the AAC pilot. Great fun :D

  • That is CCI Standard SUB SONIC ammo being used. The gun has yet to misfired or cycle with the subsonic ammo!

  • you of this where 70 to 60 year ago and if you where in world war 2 and got cot with one of those by a germen you'd be dead.

  • Can this gun or these bullets or both put a man down, like injured or death???

  • JIC54 lol any gun will get some1 injured espeacialy the caliber lol hope i dont hear anything on the news about u

  • Lol no i am just curious, you never know self defence

  • You should probably get a 45ACP or 12 gauge pump. A 22 wouldn't do much damage unless you hit him in the eyes, heart, lungs, ect. You best bet for home defense would be a 12 gauge. But, if you want it for all the time carry, go for the 45acp.

  • .22lr will kill someone easier than you think with proper (or lucky) shot placement. The ultimate home defense is 12 guage shotgun with buckshot. You'd have to be blindfolded to miss, and just the sound of pumping the action with a loud "WHO's THERE!?!" is enough to send most home invaders running to save their sorry asses. Here in Canada we can't carry pistols, but I feel bad for the punk that tries to break into my house. For concealed pistol, .44 magnum revolver double action cowboy style :)

  • Right on!

  • I have each caliber you mention here. It would be funner to poke more holes in them as they are moving toward you. less mess too.

  • yeah anyguy runnin in my house will meet up with my ruger mk1 .22, he'll turn that corner and pop!

  • and he'll keep coming....

  • You had better watch out shooting an intruder with a .22. If you shoot some crook with a .22 and injure the bastard he will sue your ass for loss of work and most likely win. You never want two stories, ever!

  • badmoonryzn,how about.........if i kill him?

  • Yes, that works for me. I am referring to a burglary in SF CA where a guy shot an intruder in his house with a shotgun in the leg. The burglar lost his leg. He was sentenced to time served and probation. He was unable to continue to work because of the loss of his leg. He sued the shooter and won. Only in CA. I cannot believe the morons that sit on the bench. The case is being appealed and i do not know what way it is going, but why would a judge ever allow something so screwed up? I am stunned!

  • I had a friend in LAPD say the best thing to do is shoot him the chest, walk over to him, roll him over, and put two in his head.

Basically, make sure he's dead, otherwise he'll sue you.

  • badmoonryzn,i also feel like you becaus if he thretend me or my famaly i would not jesetate to kill him and i gues neather would you.

  • Sadly I had to make that choice. I was in a pee stall at a rest area when two guys came out of a crapper stall with a knife and said gimme your wallet. He was back about ten feet so I turned toward him pulling my .41mag just as he walked toward me. I fired and got both of the guys. No not really, they ran out the door like their pants were on fire. I'm glad they didn't push the issue. I'll bet they never thought some guy taking a leak would have a gun. Heck, I didn't even have time to zip. LOL

  • well i am glad to be speaking with you and thankfull that you had a gun,by the way was your gun a jericko(baby desert eagle)and why

.41magnum hell i know i want some stoping power in my gun but shooting that thing aint exactly comfertable.

  • My first Smith was a M19, then a M29 and then I got the 57 It is easyer to shoot than the 44 and if you look at the specs nothing hit with the 41 is going to notice much differnece between it and the 44. If I can remember the 41 will push a 240 grain bullet over 1200fps at 50 yards from a six inch barrel with 975fp of energy. The 44 even more. The 41 has less recoil and it did not twist in my hand so I recovered my site plane faster, however I like em both! I bought a Glock M32 357 that is OK 2

  • nice, well from the looks of things its afe to say you dont like small calibers(not a bad thing wen shoosing for self defence since big calibers like the .41magnum no one will get up from that)

  • Boy, these comments make me glad I live in a place where no one would dream of needing a gun for self protection.
