  • Lol, reminds me of a few PS1 games that has this on start up, or a basic version at least. Good times.

  • damn i thought this was a rick roll hahaha

  • thumbs down for not including the game's epic soundtrack.

  • It's the '90s, and there's time for Galaga!

  • i can't tell any difference in graphic quality between this version, the arcade, or the PS2 version on Namco Museum compilation..good game..

  • I got this on VC!

  • Hey check out my Galaga hacks for the original version of galaga!!!it's on my channel!!!!

  • is this better than the original galaga?

  • You bet it is!

  • Uhh... isn't this called Galaga '88? Or was it changed to '90 for the TG-16 release?

  • Yeah it was changed.

  • I think this is available on the Wii Virtual Console...

  • Yup.

  • yup

  • it has to be over 100 bicks beacuse it is a classic system and i have one

  • i like cheese salad

  • eeehhhh isnt that galaga 88?

  • no its galaga 90 i have the same game for my TG16

  • i have it too

  • What on earth is the difference in this game from the PCE Galaga '88? I'll need to check my RetroGamer back issues for that one.

  • Aside from those all purple and bright green aliens (ugh!), this looks pretty cool, especially the interesting stage(s?) with the giant aliens and asteroids :)

Thanks for posting, I'm not real familiar with the Turbo 16 as it is.

  • It's been rated for the Australian VC, so I'd imagine we'll see it in other parts of the world as well. It was a pretty popular Hucard game in its time.

  • I am looking forward to this game being on the virtual game console. This is a game that I always wanted to get on the tg-16 since I enjoyed the other 2 sequals to galaxian with them being Galaga and Gaplus.

  • I've always enjoyed the Galaga games, and I grabbed this one for the TG16 the day it came out. I've since bought the Galaga '88 game for my PC Engine since my TG16 finally bit the dust. This is a great game. Lot of fun!
