1. Spoiling the names by insulting shortnames such as "Pakkya" for Prakash, Arya for Arvind, Sheenya for Srinivas is specialty of North Karnataka.mandi for Mandakini was superb.

2. Second peculiarity is using expeletives such as " Soolemaga" and " Hena-ettli"& " avnouna" in normal conversations similar to the usage of Bc & MC by Punjabis.

I as a north kannadiga was really missing all these expressions which Pransh has brought back to my memory!
