A couple weeks ago i read a book called "Clubland Confidential" which is a really good account of the club kids during early 90's NY. There is also a documentary titled "Party Monster" and then a fictional movie with the same name starring Macualy Caulkin and Seth Green. i reccommend all three.

@fra82able unsure of title, but its actually from a scene in the movie Party Monster and is being performed primarily by one of the main actors, Macauley Culkin (if you dont know, he swerved very far away from his Home Alone image)---the movie is about the early 80s U.S. club scene and the evolution of the subculture that went along with it, so this song goes well with many of these pics because of the similar visual vibe in the film
