@gmoney7716 garrett although you may be right...my Invasion was drilled differently than yours. I had mine pin up over ring finger, CG kicked quite a bit (due to the lineup of the pin-CG-MB) with mass bias in a strong position which required an extra hole. it read the mids really nice but came off harder at the end of the pattern and was actually more angular. I will take a pic of my Anarchy because i used the same layout and tag you in it on fb
I am having trouble with my invasion reading the lane. I clean it after every series, but recently started throwing the ball about 17 not 15. I am wondering if i should change the layout. It is currently pin up with the mass bias next to the thumb. If i have the pin moved under the fingers and the mass bias kicked out, would this make a big difference in reaction. I am wanting this ball to be for very heavy oil only.
@los200300 the invasion is about 5 boards stronger than the reign of fire.
Me and my dad just had them drilled up and the invasion is stronger but the reign of fire with it's 1,000 abralon finish hooks earlier. Both have alot of flare potential. These balls just hook man, we were able to throw the ball with barely any fingers and it would go across the 3 arrow to the fourth board and hook perfectly in the pocket by itself on a slick house shot
U can throw this ball on medium oil . It is all in how u lay the ball out and how you come out of the ball . Bowling is about adjustments . Solid or sanded balls give you a good read and maintain their line . Reign of fire is a good option but has a very agressive back end as well . You can't be scared of the ball . Backend is a good thing . Good bowlers should be able to throw anything on any condition .
Yes it is. The Invasion is much more midlane rolling ball compared to the VG. The VG goes down longer and has more backend. If you get the Invasion do a different drilling or change surfaces to get you a different look
I would probably say a virtual energy. Something that gets down the lane that is polished but still has recovery. You may have to put a little more speed on the ball when it gets dryer but I think the virtual energy would be good
Uhmm....well im a 2 handed bowler (Average about 180) and im looking for a new ball....I have been looking a tthe Storm Fast....I bowl on a pretty dry lane and my speed is anywhere between 13-15 mph.....And i have a TON of revs on the ball.
I just wanted to know if you could recommend a ball made by storm....
I think the fast will be fine for you on dry lanes or if there really dry even the natural urethane would be fine too. The fast has a lot backend so it can be a lil more versatile with your ball speed and revs
It sounds like your a stroker but I would like to know your ball speed and if your a low, medium, or high rev bowler to give you a more accurate ball choice. Also what kind of oil condition like dry, medium, or heavy oil.
hey gmoney7716 i'm cranker with 16-19 mph ball speed would this ball roll good on medum oil? IF i drill it weak :) If it's not good what storm ball shoud i buy without t-roads i have t-road pearl . I want ball that hasn't got early midlane and has nice sharp late controlable hook.
I wouldn't get a invasion. I would say the virtual energy. Its strong that doesn't read the midlane as much and goes down the lane and makes a nice move to the pocket
they both hook in the same part of the lane, however, the reign of fire is usually given a stronger layout than the invasion. just cause the invasion is a stronger ball
@los200300 Yeah. Save the money and buy a reign or reign of fire. They are cheaper than the invasion. I just got the invasion. On a house shot, i can barely keep it on the right side of the headpin, and thats with throwing over the gutter cap.
Yeah they seem to have about the same reaction, but the invasion seems to be a little stronger just in hitting power. I really like the reign of fire, however.

is the invasion tht much different than the virtual gravity
i mean i have the virtual and i play about the same shot and it rolls jus like the invasion

@gmoney7716 i am a righty and i throw a big hook should i get the invasion or the virtual gravity nano for really heavy lanes
villanistephen 2 months ago
I am a bigger fan of the nano because it has a great angle for it being a heavy oil ball. If you want a more even ball then the invasion
gmoney7716 2 months ago
That is such smooth bowling and I am a left hander that is exactly how I played with the Invasion last night! What an amazing ball!

hi, i dont know much of the terms of bowling in english.
but i wanna ask this..
i am a left handed, i throw the ball some where between line 10 and 15 (arrows 2 and 3) and i wanna buy a new ball .
i am between Storm Invasion and Roto Grip Mutant Cell..
which one has a better hook?
and which ball u recommend? why ?
.. and last but not least , know that i describe how i throw my ball, can you tell me, what style do i throw ?? (tweeter, cranker etc)
thank u very much

Yeah I understand all that I was just saying for the house bowler unless you run into a flood it's no need to buy an invasion
