no theyre not. thats a sterotype. Athletes have to go to college now to make it pro, and youre not going to get into a good college if you cant read.

Athletes, baseball players especially, don't have to go to college to become professionals. In fact, Derek Jeter didn't go to college. Furthermore, graduating college says nothing about a person's intelligence (you would realize this had you gone to college yourself).

if you look at Derek Jeter, who didn't go to college, had straight As in school and is clearly not stupid by listening to the way he gives interviews. and baseball players in my opinion, are the least stupid of all athletes, because most of them are well-spoken and stay out of trouble (unlike football players who are constantly in trouble) and it does say something about intelligence cuz you can't graduate if ur grades are shit. and i havent even made it to college im in high school smart guy
