No other console positioned pet seats available in the market that were reviewed had any metal reinforced protection in the event of an airbag release. Industry standard crash testing is being reviewed at this time, & information will be posted as available

"The TT2 has not had any "Consumer Reports" type crash testing done, but it has been engineered with a metal reinforced perimeter around the carrier where the pet is strapped in with a shoulder harness front & back. This provides greater protection in the event of an air bag release.
