@mitgiannis The only thing GR does do better than TR economically on is salary but that isn't because the Turkish economy is weak but rather because the minimum wage in Turkey hasn't been raised to meet EU standards and employers in Turkey pressuring the government not to raise wages to drastically. That's why we fully recovered in early 2010 right before the recession really got bad for the EU and US. It is actually possible for a republic to rule another nation with many examples from France in Africa and Asia to the US in Puerto Rico, Cuba and the Philippines. @mitgiannis The only thing GR does do better than TR economically on is salary but that isn't because the Turkish economy is weak but rather because the minimum wage in Turkey hasn't been raised to meet EU standards and employers in Turkey pressuring the government not to raise wages to drastically. Which is why at the beginning of this year wages went up slightly. Our wages are actually still higher than that of many countries in Europe and EU like Bulgaria. Wages are near €7,930 like Brazil's

This whole crisis thing is a huge bubble that the EU made it look like. Greece was the same before 2009 and things were relatively fine and then BAM! DRAMA EVERYWHERE. That's why we fully recovered in early 2010 right before the recession really got bad for the EU and US. You can be an already developed country and development can degenerate as was the case with the Soviet Union and its former Soviet states today. Btw, the concept of a 1st, 2nd and 3rd world goes back to the Cold War in which Turkey and Greece are the 1st world.

@mitgiannis But you are mixing mongols and seljuks...the former follwed the latter in the historic timeline..it's not one and the same thought they've all mixed...but in Turkey there are also tatars and turkmens for instance...I doubt you would be able to spot the difference between them but u shouldn't confuse them anyhow...it's almost impossible to determine the general turk's ethnical background...most are a complicated mix of european (mostly greek) and central-asian descent..

@mitgiannis look my friend. In Greece the sun is shining for over than 300 days per year and the temperatures is for swimming at our turquoise beaches for over than 7 months and for braves for all months!
In Sweden and general in all Scandinavia,in Germany,UK, Netherlands,Belgium,Ireland,Poland,France,Austria and all former soviet countries they ARE NOT LIKE Greece,Italy,Spain and Portugal. You are freezing by cold and we are JUST FINE!! So,you NEED our gas!!! and YES it's prize is TRILLIONS!
