  • "television shopping fixed all that" lol

  • Mai Yamane, such a mature, sexy, beautiful voice. ;D

  • Does anyone know if we can buy these songs on itunes?

  • @musterdyellow sadly no, you could always use a converter on these, or buy the cd off of amazon.

  • what jury???

  • Her voice is really soulful

  • @dropkickproductiontx I always loved Mai Yamane

  • So true.

  • "Jet... you know what those 3 things, which I hate most?"

    "What?"

"Kids, animals and liar women. Tell me, Jet: how on Earth did we collect all three of these...?!"

  • @qwuezalothus Actually, it's more like:

" - Jet, do you know that there are three things that I particularly hate?"

    " - Really?"

" - Kids. Animals. And women with attitudes. So tell me Jet...why do we have all three of them neatly gathered in our ship?!"

  • @qwuezalothus Its women with attitudes!!!!!

  • @PyRamesses i was gonna say the same thing, lol

  • Heh, heh. I love this song in the show when Spike and

the thug are chasing Ein. Ein is a genius.

    :D

  • LOVE THIS FUCKIN SHOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW..... this songs in the second episode

  • @Fuzzjunk91 Thanks. I was actually going to ask that. (Seriously)

  • LOVE THIS FUCKIN SHOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

  • wtf i thought this was from the einstein episode not the toys in the attic...

  • This is makes me feel cool during roadtrips

  • F*ck yeah, I learned an important thing from this as a kid: clean out your damn fridge, or the food in there will kill you, through consumption or otherwise.

Also, I love the one out of two Aerosmith references that I know of from this series. I wish some of their older, more Blue-sy stuff would've made it onto this show's soundtrack, but then it would have exploded from Awesome Overload.

  • WANNA FIGHT!!!!! lol ya know what really bothered me the only time ein used a comp was brain scratch whats that like eps 23 n the crew still didn't figure it out funny huh!! reply if you thought so 2

  • WANNA FIGHT!!!!! lol ya know what relly botherd me the only time ein used a comp was brain scratch whats that like eps 23 n the crew still didint figure it out funny huh!! reply if you thought so 2

  • @babyhorn666 It was hard for me to decypher that comment, but yeah, when Ein uses the computer it's pretty funny. It's one of the few hints towards just what a "data dog" might be.

  • WANNA FIGHT!!!!! lol

  • "I want it back, i spent all my money on it, i want it back!!!!!"

    OH YEAHH

  • Why does this sound so much like one of those pop songs they play in Scooby Doo chase scenes?

  • 8D

I've been searching for this song for a few weeks now <3

    I finally found it 8DDDDD

    it's even better than I thought it'd be C':

  • If you see a stranger, follow him!

  • Was that Hakim? what the hell is going on around here?!

  • and yeah ive been lookin all over for this full version

  • Chasing down Ein was the best wasn't it people?

  • You know this song was written by a broke guy watching jewelry and clothes leave him.

  • @Ghostbrass really cause wikia's credits for the album says its an original to The Seatbelts.

  • Jet: How far back do they need to stand?

Spike: Maybe 2 or 3 miles.

    Jet: That's too far!

Spike: Fine, maybe a mile and a half.

Spike: NEXT EPISODE! STRAY DOG STRUT.

  • this song was in ep 2, Stray Dog Strut!! XD *saw it last night*

  • @shoujoluvr707 hey I saw the same ep the same night as you!... god I love Cowboy Bebop!

  • This is why i love Bebop. Because the music isn't all in Japanese. I can sing along to some of them. And they even use the universal language of instrumental blaring jazz.

  • @steveandhutchinc - well said my friend! well said!

  • @steveandhutchinc its not jazz persay its actually and ironically Bebop music that they mainly play look it up Bebop is a genre

  • @striderhyu true. but bebop is somewhat a division of jazz with some stray traces of R&B, and vague references to rock.

  • Am I the only one who thought Mushroom Samba kicked some serious ass?

  • @Palkia678 no your completely right, i like that episode the most cause Ed is my favorite! ^_^

  • Sounds like Imperial Drag :|

  • The Mad Pierrot session kicks a lot of ass, but I agree with many of the commenters that it was really creepy and disturbing in some instances. It's interesting that Pierrot is so afraid of cats, especially since there's a cat in every Bebop episode, except maybe one or two. Same with Trigun.

  • @spyder7040

Pierrot Le Fou was the Batman episode of Cowboy Bebop.

  • @DiscordantRhapsody - Pierrot used to scare the hell out of me. x.x' i'm not sure if it was his creepy smile or the way he laughed.. but he used to scare me x.x

  • @chuckythekillerdoll same! Nothing scares me more than freaky 'children'. On top of the noise he makes by grinding his teeth together....

  • @chuckythekillerdoll I have to say it was the combination of the two. That and he hardly ever spoke actual words. He just laughed and grinned and destroyed. Creeper? Hell. Yes!

  • Ever notice how all of the good anime with amazing storylines and music (not to mention animation) end too early? But that is what makes them good. Hopefully, you've enjoyed the ride

  • @TheBlackSMA Yeah!!! Cowboy Bebop is so amazing that i don´t want a sequel =)

  • hahAha the seatbelts very gooood

  • This song kicks ass to the limit of kick ass.

  • Let me think...

If I add up all you owe me

    And include my time,

I might make it through this Summer!

The ultimate burn right there. I love this song.

  • i didn't like the one with pierrot it was too sad and violent

    i couldn't finish watching it. :(

  • @serenevil Yeah the ending is pretty disturbing and sad at the same time....i dunno for all the other fan of cowboy beb0p but i had feel some pity for Pierrot in the end of this session.

  • Great song, but like bsnowman pointed out, this is near identical to the Imperial Drag song Zodiac Sign. I don't know if it's a coincidence or intentional, since they both came out around the same time, but I like both songs, so it doesn't really matter.

  • @RiardoSvandel Same people claim that Yoko Kanno has "stolen" songs, and it might be true. Some of the claims are pretty wild and seemingly baseless, but a few have a remarkable similarity. But that's the nature of pop music, you can only do so much with it before it starts sounding like something else.

  • @DevilTakeMe

i like to think of it as an inspired tribute, much like this series

  • Imperial Drag - Zodiac Sign

  • What a romantic song. lool

  • funny thing is I first heard this song on valentines day...IRONY

  • This is my favorite break-up song XD

  • haha yah its perfect

  • Cowboy bebop fucking amazing, fuck those idiots of Hollywood who want to make this beauty in a crap live action movie...

  • ep: "Stray Dog Strut"

  • one of my favorite episodes

  • Gosh, i've been searching for this for AGESSS!!

  • Which Ep was this again...

  • @MegaManX1415 I was searching for this too, its during the episode where Spike chases down Ein.

  • Which is episode 2!

  • Comment removed

  • Ein is my favorite!

  • @marneteen87 you made me laught.

  • Love this song and the episode as well.

    Good ol Ein.

  • lol love this song and that ep where it plays

  • Episode 2. I just started watching the series. I heard it and tracked it down here :D

    This song rocks, instant win!

  • she's a mack for this song she buy's this guy all this cheap stuff and then says gimme all the money i spent on you back lmfao love this song

  • its too a girl

  • heard this song late night on the radio and it caught my attention right away very good for the long night drive

an interesting point is that no one dislikes this song the ratings are still on 5 stars

  • Mai Yamane has such a unique voice, I love it.

  • yeah it is an odd choice to place a woman singing when the story the song tell is from a man's point of view, and pushing the sky's first line makes you go "wait... what?"

  • Uhh maybe if this was from the 1920's you'd be right. Believe it or not women actually can hold capital in this day and age.

  • @PrimeDefection I know right, the first time I heard it, I was actually like "Wait..... What??" But you have to admit, her voice was PERFECT for all of those songs. Even Don't Bother None. She's got that jazzy bluesy voice going on.

  • Seatbelts do a such wide range of music

    Love em

  • cowboy bebop by far best anime ever made my fav non the less

  • I like this kind of music but it's hard to find other blue's or jazz tracks like this. Can ya recommend me other bands or singers that have this style of music

  • hahaha! Hearing this makes you think that this was make in america.

  • Yeah, it's actually a Japanease animation song. Yoko Kanno and Seatbelts are awsome.

  • I always find myself watching Pirret Le Fou, The episode with Andy (Wild Horses?), and Toys In The Attic when I bust out my collectors edition of Cowboy Bebop

  • Wild Horses was the episode about Spike and his space jet thingie getting fixed. If I remember right.

  • i gotta say that pirret le fou was one of the freakiest eps. i've seen on any anime,it was scary and sad,but a good ep. none the less.cowboy bebop kicks ass!

  • It's Pierrot Le Fou and Cowboy Funk,

  • Honyk Tonk Women, Ganymede elegy, Bohemian Rhapsody, Mushroom Samba,Black dog serenade, Hard Luck Woman... Just some of my faves. ... & my two cents: Heavy Metal Queen wasn't shitty but it wasn't one of the best episodes either.

  • Speak Like a Child gets me every time. I feel so bad for Fay.

  • Yeah Waltz for Venus is a great ep

  • Stray dog strut and Mushroom Samba are my to fave ep.s

  • Mushroom Samba is my favorite too! That episode is just too hilarious. I mean BeBop crew + shrooms=comedy.

  • most definitly. mushroom samba is also my favorite. makes me crack up every time.

  • Yeah HMQ is a great episode. one of the best episode endings in the series.

  • The only shity episode of bebop is heavy metal queen. Black Dog Serenade is one of my favorite episodes.

  • Heavy Metal Queen was personally one of my favorites. I don't think there was a shitty episode at all, either. :/ But my least favorite probably had to be~~~ Toys in the Attic... still was good though.^^

  • Nah, Toys in the Attic was quite funny. A bit random, but it teaches one important thing: Never leave old food in the fridge xD

  • If you see a stranger, follow him...

  • @LittleMadPyro That was a good one just for the 2001 space odyssey style ending.

  • @LittleMadPyro COSMIC FRIDGE

  • @LittleMadPyro

Toys in the Attic was the best 30 minutes of television i think ive ever seen.

...Well, aside from the first time when i was small and Gohan finally blew cell away with that giant attack.

  • @LittleMadPyro Lesson Lesson If you see a stranger follow him.

  • @striderhyu you know what, thats what im gonna do when im bored. when im bored im just gonna go outside to the shopping center and see a random guy walking out and follow him till he gets in his house or a car, bad, ass.

  • @LittleMadPyro I sure learned that one.

  • @LittleMadPyro

And I guess everyone died too.

Spike lighting the cigarette with the flamethrower made the episode.

  • I fail to see how Heavy Metal Queen was shitty. Because it had nothing to do with the Main story line? Don't all Anime's have episodes that stray from the story line?

  • Yea they all do, they are called "fillers" and my reason for hating heavy metal queen is purely subjective. I just didn't enjoy the episode.

  • @Aristotle100 Cowboy Bebop doesn't really follow the traditional set up of mostly plot-focused episodes with a couple of filler. If you try to define it like that, Cowboy Bebop has only 5-7 (depending on how you count some of Faye's episodes) non-filler episodes. A lot of Cowboy Bebop is about creating both this incredible counterculture within a massive solar system, and developing the characters (things Heavy Metal Queen did).

  • @tarheelfan511 well said man

  • I don't think there is a single episode of Bebop I don't like...

  • i LOVE every episode except black dog serenade and boogie woogie feng shui, which are just okay.

  • clearly, you don't like Jet very much, do you?

  • nah i like jet i just found those episodes to be less entertaining... furthermore, ganymede elegy is one of my favorite episodes.

  • @afropower88

Actually the only one I don't like is the episode with Mad Poroit or however you spell his name. But anyway, it wasn't because it was bad, but because the ending made me feel uncomfortable.

  • That was one of my favourites. It was definatly an odd one out of the bunch. Lets face it, it was twisted and warped and really really creepy all at the same time. Sometimes you have to feel uncomfortable. Anyway it is in my top five episode list, though I really liked them all...the movie was ok....@XanltheCSG

  • @afropower88

No as in, the ending had a grown man crying like a child, screaming for his mother whilst in terrible pain.

I'm not a pedophile, so instead of getting hard at that scene, I felt really sad and uncomfortable.

Crying hurt children is sort of a weakness of mine.

I liked the movie, I thought it was just an extended episode.

  • @XanltheCSG

Ha, glad I'm not the only one. Whenever I see a grown man, wether fictional or not, crying out for his mother because something got to him, it also gets to me.

  • Me encanta la voz de Mai yamane!

  • bravazo!

  • Stray Dog Strut!

  • Thanks so much for posting this! I've been looking for this song everywhere but i forget the name of it. I've loved it since i first saw the episode it was in
