  • Breath taking.

  • Friday, September 9 at 8 pm at the Filene Center / WolfTrap VA

    Ticket Price: $35 in-house, $25 lawn

    Eddie From Ohio and

    Martin Sexton

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

  • J. Mayer is a dushe, he worked at Eddies Attic and was inappropriate with his words even then. Just goes to show, the assholes become famous. But yes, Martin is an amazing artist, wish I was nicer to him when he played at Eddies.

  • chills man, i just got the chills from this, thanks martin (even though you'll probably never read this :), never change)!

  • AWESOME! This brother has got soul!!!

  • I love the woman just after 3:18 when she yells out, "You are so many instruments!!" We all benefit from his subway experiences.

  • sometimes when i'm sad. martin sexton is the only person who can make me feel better.

  • @jbDMB21 i know that feel bro.

  • Just saw him play last night in Regina, SK, Canada, of all places! I love this song :)

  • and I'll see him tomorrow in Montreal

  • I can't believe Mayer is more popular than Martin!

  • @jarmstrong026 Thats not Mayer's fault its the publics but I know that Mayer loves Martins music and that Martin is a great inspiration to him.

  • @ASHSRV Fair enough...

  • @jarmstrong026 same reason McDonalds sells billions of those shitty hamburgers dude.

  • yeaaaaaaaa

  • I can't believe John Mayer used to open for Marty.

  • the curse of the entertainment business, you need to be commercial (aka good looking).

i.e. if you want to make it big, those with more of the talent part, will have a loyal base and be remembered for having just that, talent.

pity the 70's idea of music isn't still going on, imagine where jimi hendrix, janis joplin etc, talent. nothing more, nothing less.

    brittney spears, you kidding me?

  • I have to disagree, it's not the business at fault but the consumer. If the people want empty, vapid music and are willing to pay for it then that is what they'll get. It says a lot more about us then about the free market.

  • not to answer too harshly, but i never said it was the business's fault, it called it it's curse.

i'm sure you know the difference :)

but i agree somewhat, people are at fault as well, but it's not that they want empty vapid music, they're imo just sort of a victim of their own nature.

it's human to want to look at something more attractive then less attractive, our nature isn't fashioned in a way to get attracted to deep meaningful lyrics, we're all a little shallow when it comes to this :)

  • nice. we need more martin on the net!!

  • Thanks I haven't had the chance to see him yet but love his music.

  • babs as in Barbara B???

  • Yes Barbara. One of my friends has called me Babs for years. It use to be a joke but became an indearing greeting. I heard Martin Sexton will be nearby soon. I hope I can find a way to see him. Thanks again
